Does not work directly with my plug and play wire compatible Poe NVR.

Broke down after 24 hours, when working was perfect, refund was prompt though!

The camera worked out of the box with both an external 12V power supply and a PoE switch. I first tested it at home and then put it in an enclosure (electrical box and 4" security camera replacement dome) outdoors. I'm in the suburbs of a 100k city, so there is significant light pollution here. I placed it in the backyard some 10 feet above the ground, and I can see the brightest stars. The image is in color. I also cranked the image quality to the best and the bandwidth to the highest settings of around 8 Mbps. I wish it were in a square format and not a 16:9 rectangle, but one can't wish too much at such an affordable price.Initially, the image was pitch black, though. I had to play with AGC before setting it back to automatic, and with "Repeatedly switching lock," which I set to Open, lock for 0.5h. If the settings don't switch to day mode and then back to night mode in the evening, I'll update this review. For now, the settings survived several test reboots, so I assume they will work OK.The RTP stream is password-protected, unlike someone claimed in a different review. Perhaps a different camera model. I did not figure out how to set up a non-admin user yet. That will be my next step before adding it to my Frigate server.As for durability, I would have to wait a year or more before evaluating. By that time, there will probably be newer models, so my feedback would be meaningless anyway.

Insecure cameras. There is ZERO security on the RTSP stream, even though there is an "auth enable" in the RTSP network settings. I wish I had know this before buying. Now I'm stuck with insecure cameras. NEVER EVER buy cameras from this company. I am so disappointed and now I'm out of pocket.

This camera is ONVIF compatible, POE power supply is good. The camera image quality is excellent.it works well , very wide view, and no distortion.I like this camera , especially for the price and quality.

In April of 2022 I put one of these into a window of our house that gets full sun during the day and doesn't get enough ventilation to stop the window from being covered in condensation most of the winter.It survived for nearly 3 years in that window exposed to constant heat and moisture.I order another one recently but it was DOA. I got link on the POE switch, but it wouldn't pick up an IP and I couldn't find the mac address in the switch. Tried an external power supply in case it was just an issue with the POE module but that didn't work either.
