Our wide selection is elegible for free shipping and free returns. Review: Cheerful Necklace at a Cheerful Price Point - I wanted a casual necklace that would be fairly discreet. The stones are larger than I thought I would be getting. I think each is approx. .25 ct in size. I have a white gold one-karat 18" diamonds by the yard necklace and those stones, 14 of them, are quite a bit smaller than the gemstones in this necklace. Another reviewer of a Sophia multi-color gemstones by the yard questioned whether the piece really was 14K gold and sent hers back because it "failed the magnet test". I would like to say this caused me a bit of worry, but I've done some research on testing gold, the magnet test is only one method. I used a high powered magnet and yes, the lobster claw stuck to the magnet - but it's supposed to. The gold lobster claw contains a spring and the spring is not supposed to be gold (a gold spring would be too soft and would wear out). The outer part of the clasp is gold but not the inner spring. The magnet was not attracted to the rest of the necklace at any point whatsoever, so in my opinion, the necklace did pass the magnet test and I am very satisfied that this is 14K gold as the seller claims. This is a very fun and cheerful necklace, all the gemstones are a lovely color, and it looks like it cost more than what I paid for it. I think I will get many years of enjoyment out of it. I will be going to the other reviewer's contribution to point out that the gold clasp's inner spring should be attracted to the magnet because I feel a disservice has been done to the seller.
