RHINO RESCUE IFAK Trauma First Aid Kit, FSA HSA Eligible, Medical Pouch for Car Home Travel Hiking (Camouflage)

This is one of those things that you buy but hope winds up being a complete waste of money. It’s the same reason why I own a plate carrier and Level 3+ plates - I don’t want to ever need it, but would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it! I don’t know a lot about first-aid more than CPR and minor treatments for minor aliments. I decided to get this IFAK to keep in my range bag just in case I’m there and someone is accidentally shot by a firearm. I’ve been watching videos on YouTube about trauma first-aid so I can learn to be helpful and not harmful! This is a nice kit, it really is. It holds a lot, seems well-made, and is lightweight which is surprising considering how much stuff it holds! I did order a pack of Rhino Rescue Chest Seals that I threw into the bag, and I ordered a couple extra tourniquets just in case as well. I think that people from my no-skill level up to experts would like this IFAK and that it could definitely save a life should it be needed. I’m probably going to buy another one, and a couple more chest seals, to keep in my car just in case I come across a car accident or something and it’s gonna be a little while before professionals get there. It’s something that more people should have just in case, I believe.

I'm not an expert on all things IFAK, but I've found these kits to be a step above similar kits just in what they provide, e.g. a splint, which is not always the case in all the little "med kits". I have a few such First Aid kits and with all of them - this one included - I do supplement (e.g. chest wound seals, snake-bite kit I'm in CO)...no IFAK can have everything. Still, some others I've bought are more "first aid/survival" and contain things like glow sticks but this is more pure IFAK. Also other kits try and give you a bunch of stuff that at the end of the day is cheap - like little gas station knives. This doesn't have that stuff, just core first-aid products and good ones like the splint and the tourniquet. I can supply my own knife!

When I win at my local casino, I usually buy things that I've often said I wish I'd gotten along the way. The extra fire extinguisher, a specialty tool, that sort of thing. I ride a motorcycle and do a lot of driving and the standard car first aid kit only goes so far. I found this item at a good price at the right time. It's well stocked and convenient. People with CCWs sometimes say that maybe they'll be the only person with a weapon in a situation. Well that's how I feel about this.

Everything I needed in a compact case. As described all included components. Looks great. Easily organized. Sturdy. And right in line price wise with what to expect.

Next to the gold standard of North American Rescue. Rhino Rescue has an excellent reputation for IFAK Trauma packages. Those that have been in the military or health care know that these can be a life saver. Because of the infinite number of different emergency’s and changing times I got my wife one for her go bag in her car and one to keep at her job. In these uncertain times it’s a great security blanket to know that you have the ability to secure yourself until help arrives or you can get to a hospital. 

I have not had to use it yet, but the items in this kit are almost identical to the items in the field med kits we carried in the military. The trauma cards will be helpful to emergency personnel if filled out correctly. I am going to by one for each of mine and my kids vehicles. I highly recommend the RHINO first aid kits to all not just first responders.

Keep it in my patrol. Great quality. Great price.

It has everything I need for work, and it offers good value and quality. However, some basic medical knowledge is required to use it. Nice size for travel.
