Do you like Captain Underpants? If so, then by all means check this book out. While on the short side, it's 160 pages of absolute fun. From a comic strip opening by Dav to the charming detail with the slipcover, the book starts off with a bang and it just keeps going. What's really fascinating is just seeing all the work by one man being re-vamped by a huge team of artists, it's almost magical in a way. A beautiful wholesome artbook made with love from both the director and Dav Pilkey. It goes into great detail behind the design process of the characters and in here you can take your time to see every single little gag you may have missed in the backgrounds from the movie. The names of all the teachers made me laugh!
