OutOfAir - 3 Teflon Heat Tape Strips for Vacuum Sealers Compatible with FoodSaver, Weston, Seal-A-Meal, Cabelas, and Others

Just installed this heat seal tape on my vacuum sealer after the original tape started getting wrinkled after 15 years of use and me using the wrong cleaning solution on it. All I can say is so far the tape works wonderfully! I'm just delighted I don't have to put a functioning vacuum sealer in the land fill. So far it seems to be sticking well and I will update the review if there is a problem but at this price, I probably wouldn't complain if it peeled off in a year or so. I have enough tape to repeat the process three or four times. One thing to note, this tape is a little thicker than the original, it didn't affect my seal quality but if it is significantly thicker than your original tape you might want to increase the seal time a second or two. But like I said, mine worked fine at the program heat seal setting of 5 seconds which I've been using for many years.

These are a little wider than the one I had on the sealer, but worked just fine. It was very easy to apply and sealed as they should. Great value for the money.

The older Foodsaver wasn’t sealing the bags correctly and losing the vacuum from the bags. I thought it was destined for the trash and horrified at the price of a new one. This kit has 3 heat strips and the repair was less than 2 minutes. Now the machine works like brand new! 7 bucks instead of 200. Amazing.

The way they are shipped some of the paper was loose on the tape but they seem to hold good sealer works like new now, saved a lot on replacement

Fast delivery and product works as described

So easy to install on my FoodSaver. I did cut each side of one end to make it easier to”thread” down in the unit. I understand why an end wasn’t already cut as each unit is different.

Works ok. Not sure why but sometimes will not seal on the first try.

Easy fix at a good price

I have a quality Weston vacuum sealer but parts are hard to find. I found a replacement heat strip on ebay and teflon strips on Amazon; now I've got several more years of use to look forward to. Always prefer to fix, repair and maintain rather avoiding sending to the landfills.
