This book was vital for our Kruger visit and I’m delighted we got it. With limited reception in the Kruger it’s hard to look up anything - this book has it all!

It's an amazing book well worth the money we love it

Beautiful animal photos but the text is mostly about the geology and tree species in the park and very little about the animals and virtually no mention of bird species. No information at all about the rest camps or picnic areas or facilities.The maps are awful. The text will mention a dam or waterhole by name but its not marked on the map. The main map shows the whole Kruger park but in total isolation- I have had to draw on the locations of Hazyview, Hoedspruit etc to work out which towns are near which gates. The road descriptions are good but doesn’t mention which are troubled by traffic, when to avoid driving to not have the sun in your eyes. I have learnt so much more from other sources. This book looks great but could be so much better.
