Perfect for beginners and kids. Lots of hooks, lots of sizes.
I bought this set last year when my 10-year-old son asked me to start fishing with him. I'm a beginner myself, so I didn't want to spend a lot on fancy gear. This kit was perfect for us. It comes with 300 hooks, and there are 10 different sizes. We caught a lot of small fish (bluegill, perch). My son loved it. What's good: Lots of hooks for very little money. Many sizes to choose from — good for learning. The small barbed hooks work fine for panfish. What you should know: These are basic, budget hooks. Not for giant trophy fish. Some of the very small sizes are delicate (don't force them). Bottom line: If you're a beginner or fishing with a kid, this set is a great way to start. You get plenty of hooks to practice with, and you won't cry if you lose one in a tree. We had fun, and that's what matters.
