Great Sound at a Great Price
Small size, good looks, simple functionality, and excellent sound - a great combination. The amp looks and feels solid, no issues with the build quality and craftsmanship. The inputs look nice and the potentiometer feels sturdy. I installed the amplifier for a short test with the following setup: 19 V PSU, 2x 50 W 4 ohm bookshelf speakers, RCA in from a laptop. It sounded good - audio is clear with no noticeable distortion or noise. It was able to get very loud. Currently, the mids are strong and accurate. The highs are solid and clear. Lows/bass could be a little stronger and more rounded, comparable to my old low end Pioneer Hifi amplifier. I got a reasonable volume with this setup, it was the good time to replace the old setup with a new one. The amp didn't get warm to the touch during the 30 minute listening session. I'm pretty impressed with this little amp - great price for such a class d amplifier and I recommend it. Let's hope it will stay functional for a long time.

Fantastic little amplifier.
I’ve been using this little amp for about 2 years now and it’s fantastic. Great sound for the money, especially when setup properly. It was on my desk with monitors at ear level and the sound was phenomenal. Now they power the bookshelf speakers with audio from my turntable and it easily fills the house with plenty of range left on the knob. I’ll likely be getting another Fosi amp to replace this one so I can put this one at my desk. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about this!
First off let me say that I have also purchased a Fosi Class AB amplifier and I like very much. Having seen a youtube video showing the difference in the sine waves between a class AB amp and a class D amp, I understood why there is inherently more distortion with class D amps. That being said, I don't know what the electrical engineers did at Fosi but the sound produced for the price paid is nothing short of amazing! The first thing I did was hook it up to a 24 volt 5.7 amp power supply from my SMSL AD18. As compared to the shipped power supply, which is not bad, the sound really seemed to open up. The bass seems more pronounced but very taut and the trebles on the other end really opened up. Where to start... the soundstage produced by this tiny little amplifier is awesome. When hooked up to my bedroom speakers, if I lay in bed and close my eyes its very hard to tell where the speakers actually are. The details and clarity are wonderful, I heard things in some songs that I never noticed before. Also equally impressive is the channel separation. I'm not sure if its because I am used to streaming through units with their own built in bluetooth so I am asking an amp to perform two function and do them both well. The current setup is a BluDento connected by RCA cables. This unit is supposed to produce quality sound when connected by a coaxial cable or toslink optical cable but the best sound is supposed supposed to be produced when connected by the stereo analog outputs. All I can say is that there appears to be no crosstalk between channels and the sound produced is engaging and immersive. Its solid and clean from top to bottom. This is just my 2 cents and your mileage may vary but from where I stand, this is one solid little audio amplifier. No bells no whistles it just does one thing and I think it does it very well.

Great little low cost amp
Works and sounds great. Using it on my Atmos rear preamp output.

Excellent little amp. Can't hear any noise. Plenty powerful.
The power supply that comes with this is rated for 19V×4.74A=90.6W, and the efficiency claimed in the Texas Instruments data sheet for the TPA3116 chip is ">90%", so I have a hard time believing this thing really puts out 2x50W. But also, I don't actually care. What actually matters to me is not the rated output, but how much noise and distortion I get at the volume settings I actually use. My old boat anchor of an amp (Sherwood RX-4109) could output some kind of sound at 2x100W, sure, which is way more than I needed, sure... but even though I only needed to turn the volume dial up a little bit, that was enough to produce a nasty background hiss. Compare that to this tiny newfangled thing. I cannot hear any noise or distortion from this thing. At any volume. Sure, maybe it doesn't do 50W per channel. Maybe it does 40W. But you can use that entire range. And you don't have to. At least I don't. I have it hooked up to a Scarlett 2i4 USB audio interface and a pair of 4Ω bookshelf speakers. Even with delicate music recorded at low line levels, I have simply no need to turn the dial beyond about 20%. I'm listening to a Bach flute partita now and I can hear the flautist breathe. Now the actual drawbacks. * This is purely a power amp. It gives you no control over balance or tone. With a single pair of decent (flat frequency response) bookshelf speakers positioned sensibly, it works just fine, but there's no way to adjust it. Doesn't bother me but I thought it worth mentioning. * The only indication of the volume setting is a slight slit in a uniformly black knob. I can't see it in low light. That said, I put some paint on the knob and wiped off the excess. The paint stuck in the slit leaves a nice mark and now it's fine. * The external power brick shows no evidence of having been tested by any reputable testing house. No UL, no ETL/Intertek, no TüV, no nothing. The serial number returns no Google results. This worries me. I would gladly pay a little extra for a power supply from a reputable manufacturer like Meanwell or XP. * Balanced inputs would be nice.

The audio quality is articulate and the volume is adequate for my needs.
I liked the ease of setting up the amp. I used the RCA inputs to receive the audio signal from my TV. More important were the speaker outputs on the back of the amp. Most amps in this price range use cheap clamp-like speaker outputs that don't do a good job of retaining the speaker wires. This amp uses slotted speaker posts with individual clamps that twist the speaker cable into place. The speaker wires can be securely attached to the amp using the slotted speaker posts. About the volume, I only raise the volume of the amp to about a quarter of the way. Even at a quarter of the volume, the sound is almost too loud for my bedroom. As far as music is concerned, the articulation of the audio allows me to hear the nuances of the guitar lessons that are shared on YouTube without difficulty. I highly recommend this Fosi mini amp. It is fantastic.

Ample power for small speakers. Modestly priced, nicely made.
What a beautiful little amplifier! Modestly priced and nicely made. And its power output rating seems fairly accurate; certainly it has more than enough sound for computer speakers or bookshelf speakers. Because it is a power amplifier without a preamp stage, there is only a volume control, no other adjustments, so I precede it with a graphic equalizer.

Nice but not quite perfect
It’s a nice package, with good clear sound if you have the right speakers, and very attractively packaged. However, you can get similar units very cheaply on ebay without power supplies; and since this power supply is a standard laptop unit which doesn’t quite fit with the amp [see update below], as in “a quarter inch of power adapter still sticking out,” the package isn’t as attractive as it could be. I had assumed the power supply would be carefully matched physically as well as electrically. UPDATE: While I did buy this unit from Fosi Audio after the power supply was changed to one that fits properly, the company did issue a $13 refund for the cost of the power supply itself, which means I can presumably find one that fits properly for it. It was a bit disturbing that after they claimed to have new power supplies they still were sending out the old ones, but mistakes can happen anywhere, and I appreciate the partial refund. (A replacement power supply would have been nicer.) The sparking commented on by others occurs on competitors’ units too, such as the QS Pro (I have one of those, which costs more, for a room with a powered woofer). Basically, you have to plug the adapter into the unit first, then plug the adapter into AC power. That just seems to be the way these devices all work. Also, you should really use these with banana plugs, which are very cheap to buy — the plastic ones are best since the speaker outputs are close together (the pretty brass ones will likely touch each other and short out). Fosi seems fairly responsive and that's a plus.

Solidly built amplification, great quality for a good price
Bought for connecting a DAC (Focusrite 2i2) to studio motor speakers. The unit is delivered including a power brick with the correct EU plug without me needing to specify when bought. Solidly packaged. Metal housing, feels like a solid and heavy build. The volume knob has a satisfying resistance when turned. Sound quality is as expected, enough juice to drive my 8 ohm speakers without interference or lack of power. To me the sound feels neutral and balanced without extremes either in bass or high frequencies.

A plein volume on arrive péniblement à 3.5w !
