Nice
The condition of the book was really good with no wear and tear. The packaging was neat and this book was exactly what I hoped for, a good run down and description of name within the art movement.

I ordered this book as I was working on a paper for school. I had wanted a book that would highlight the most noted figures of the movement and give a good synopsis of their art development. This book is a valuable resource for artists of the movement, along with photos of their most noted artwork! Just what I was looking for and more!

Ah, go ahead.
Surrealism isn't for everyone. However, it is a period of art history which can be traced to the emotional and psycological trauma of the first world war. Surrealism taps into the uncounconscious, the primal and the fantastic. While I don't agree that all 50 of these works are worthy of my attention, it has introduced to other artists of this period. Enjoy!

Love the book. Hate the shipping.
I bougth this book from Colombia. It arrived destroyed in the upper left corner. The book looks horrible in my bookshelf. This book collection by PRESTEL it's amazing. It's a shame that the book was packed like if it were a rug (thrown at a box 10X the size of the book.)

Book received in damaged state
The book was damaged in the bottom right corner likely due to some kind of impact. A small tear and indentation affecting pages 35 -71 in the bottom corner. Text and images were not affected. There is also some reddish brown staining on the bottom of the last page of the book. The product may have already been damaged prior to shipping. I am willing to keep the book if reimbursed something for this damage. Perhaps I can receive some credit for the damaged product. Please respond. Morris Pudek
