Good bright light, live span not what expected
Bight clean white light much brighter then incandescent, but short live span, have already had to replace, after 52 months. Perhaps a trade off for the being brighter.

Very bright.
Crazy bright. I got pulled over for my bulbs being out. I replaced them with these and now you can read my plate from space.

Nice bright lights which almost fit.
I wanted to upgrade the light in my trunk. I found from a couple of places that the bulb is a 6418. I also found this is the same size as the interior dome light. I figured I might as well update both of them. Well, while laying on my back inside my trunk I had little difficulty in getting to the trunk light. I only needed a flat blade screw driver. Once I opened the light holder I found the bulb was shorter than the 6814 replacement bulb. Bummer. Fortunately I was able to bend the tabs of the bulb holder and install the 6814 bulb. I now have a nice bright trunk light. The interior dome light was easier. Once I got the light cover off I found this bulb is mounted in a different way and clearly was designed for the 6814 bulb. Another nice upgrade. One little item of note, the interior dome light does not every turn off completely. There is enough leakage current to keep the bulb very dimly lit. I did not try to climb into the trunk to see if that bulb has the same issue.
