Comfortable for Sleep
I bought almost a year ago so itโs about time I left a review. I need to listen to something to help me fall asleep and stay asleep. My partner is a light sleeper who requires complete silence. I would ideally prefer something wireless but Iโve tried lots of brands and wasnโt able to find any that were comfortable and capable of staying in my ears all night. I ended up going with this product. It isnโt automatically compatible with my iPhone but thatโs not a flaw (of this product, anyway) but i already had an adapter. The quality is honestly higher than what youโd expect for the price. I was expecting maybe a step above free airplane earbuds, but these pleasantly surprised me. The audio comes out clearly, they block a good amount of outside noise, and best of all they really are so comfortable to sleep in all night. After maybe 6 months of nightly use, I started to notice signs of wear. Thereโs an occasional slight crackling but it usually doesnโt bother me. I mean, itโs not like I bought these for an immaculate listening experience. I just want my sound baths, comfort shows, and brown noise to come out at a low volume. The button doesnโt always work anymore either. Also not a big deal to me personally. No issues with the part you wear in the ear. The rubber part fits in my ear perfectly and they have not ripped or fallen off like others Iโve had. The only thing Iโm worried about is that I very recently noticed some wear in the middle of the cord where it looks like they may break at some point. But for $10? Even if I have to repurchase in the next 6 months, Iโll have spent at least 500 nights in these babies. Thatโs like 3500 hours tossing and turning and rolling all over them. Iโll happily pay a fraction of a penny every night for this amount of comfort.

Perfect Noise Canceling Earbuds!! Gives me some MOMMY TIME!!!!
I cannot put into words how much I LOVE these earbuds! They are that fantastic! I have several pairs of different kinds of earbuds, including wired, wireless, Panasonic, Apple, Samsung... And I ALWAYS end up back with these. Something about the way they fit inside my ear canal like regular sound canceling ear plugs would, like the ones you'd use to sleep on an airplane to block out noise or the ones you'd use at a gun range to help prevent hearing damage. They just feel better in my opinion. And then there's the whole noise canceling aspect to these earplugs. The Samsung Wireless Earplugs offer a setting that allows you to block out ambient noise or adjust it so you can hear some background noise, i.e. your flight number being called to the gate or your name being called in a waiting room. That's all good and well, but those earbuds rely on touch controls (one touch is either pause, answer call, hang up, long touch controlled volume, etc) and they didn't always work well. These MAXROCK Earplugs are very simple. You can choose to wear both, like me, and block ALL background noise except what you're listening to or choose to wear just one earbud and listen to what's going on around you while you listen to music. Then we move onto how comfortable they are. You can literally lay your head and ear on it's side and you will not feel these MAXROCK Earplugs at all, because they are an in-ear style earplug. It's so awesome to be able to fall asleep listening to whatever you want without worrying about ear pain or being disrupted with racket going on around you. All the other earbuds and headphones I've used didn't even compare. The wireless ones are too bulky in my ear to lay down with and we all know the over-the-ear style can be quite cumbersome. Now, I will be honest in saying I have ordered 4 pairs of this particular pair of earbuds over the past two years. I've only had issues with ONE pair so far and that was after a couple months of continuous use. The wire coating separated where the microphone and pause/play button is on the wires, exposing the bare wires underneath. I attempted to fix it with electrical tape to no avail. While they still worked well with my tablet, I swear I still felt an occasional "zip" to my ear every now and then if I moved my tablet a certain way. I knew then it was time to replace them but that was still not enough to turn me away from these wonderful earbuds. For me personally, they are Heaven sent!! After a long day wrangling my two littles, who either love each other to pieces or fight like the WWE, I like to proclaim some "MOMMY TIME!" and sit down in the living room with my tablet and my MAXROCK Earplugs to start to watch Netflix or read a book and listen to music. They could be screaming at the top of their lungs playing right in front of me and I do NOT hear them. These things have improved our life so much! I've gone from yelling at them to calm down all the time to letting them get their energy out and me finally getting some quiet time! Well, I say quiet time, but the kids have figured out that if they stand directly in front of me and wave their hands that they'll get my attention... even if it's just to tell me one of them farted. But hey! At least I didn't hear it!!!

Earbuds weren't reliable but customer service was!!
Update: Great customer service!! After posting this review I was contacted by the seller apologizing and offering to replace the earplugs or refund the money for them. Completely unexpected for an item that cost less than $12. After getting these I tried them and though they sounded tinny, I donโt want a lot of bass when Iโm trying to sleep so I thought they would be ok. They were pretty small so seemed like they would stay in my ears and be comfortable sleeping on my side. The volume control worked fine and seemed convenient. However, when I tried to use them that night when I went to bed, the controls had stopped working which was a problem. I used them once for about 10 minutes and 8 hours later the controls no longer worked! Deal breaker. Side sleeping comfort - ok if seated right Stay in ears - meh. They fell out pretty easily Sound - tinny and very little bass Volume controls - worked once. Never again If none if this matters to you, they are worth the $12. But if any one of these do matter, donโt bother.

The BEST headphones for side sleepers & snore blocking
I normally don't take the time to do reviews, but, this one was important enough to me to do one. I was seeking out a new pair of wired headphones with 2 purposes in mind--comfortability during sleep and noise masking. My previous pair of headphones (the JVC gummy brand) were OK for awhile, however, they eventually started causing severe pain in my ears after sleeping with them--to the point that they were chaffing the insides of my ears. Secondly, they would not mask the complete noise of snoring from my partner. I set out to replace them with a new pair and this brand came up in a random article on the web. I bit the bullet and ordered them and I am pleased to say these so far meet and exceed my expectations after only one complete night with them. They are TINY and fit into your ear canal, which may bother some folks. They are so tiny, it almost feels like you are going to break them or lose them inside your ear--this didn't happen. They sort of form a noise vacuum when you put them in--you can immediately not hear anything around you, which again, may not be for everyone. They aren't active noise cancellation with a battery like other headphones--they are simply plug and play. I am a side sleeper and I'm also pleased to say I slept on them most of the night on my side and there was ZERO pain unlike my older pair of JVC's. Even better, I had to take them out a few times to prove to myself that it was actually completely blocking the noise of snoring--once I took a bud out, the snoring was there as loud as usual. They also have pretty good bass for something so small--this helps add some effect to the app I use to block out sound (Relax Melodies on the Google Play Store). I'm contemplating buying a backup pair just to have in case these break or die. I simply love them and I'm so excited that something like this exists for people who rely on headphones and white noise to sleep. CHEAP LOW QUALITY EARBUDS - Good for what they are
I needed a reasonable pair of headphones for sleep that wouldn't irritate my ears while sleeping as I like to fall asleep while listening to videos. These work in terms of not irritating the ears but the audio pretty lackluster. However, not really why I came to leave the one star. I don't leave a lot of reviews, but after like 6 months of owning them, the left ear bud went out. I reached out to the company on Amazon about warranty and possible replacement and they told me the warranty is 6 months and I'm over it slightly so I could purchase a new one. Not only is 6 months such a short time to stand by your product, but that was such an asinine way to reply to the customer instead of at least apologizing for their crappy product. So, just take it for what it is. A cheap product that won't last long and that you will have to replace often. **EDIT: I've upgraded the review and upgraded them to a three star after a rep reached out to me and sent me a new pair of the headphones. They apologized and stated they confused the warranty with another product. I don't know if that is accurate but at least they were able be attentive to the issue. I don't expect cheap headphones this cheap to last years but they should at least last one or a few. So just know you are getting what you pay for on these and for me, they serve their purpose even though the audio isn't great.

This is it chief
I sleep on my side. That's why I bought these earbuds. I had yet to find any headphones, earbuds, earplugs, whatever that were comfortable enough to lie on my side with. Until I found these. I can fall asleep in the middle of a raging party. I can fall asleep with 100 trains running outside. I can fall asleep while a tornado rips through my home and tears the ceiling right out from above me. But I cannot, for the life of me, sleep while someone snores. There is some primordial part of my lizard brain that simply refuses to ignore snoring. Its sound creeps into the very folds of my brain and bounces around like some kind of demented pinball. It cannot be shut out, no matter how quiet. Even if a person is snoring two rooms over, the faint whiff of that audio cue forces my brain into hyper attentive mode, wherein all I can focus on is the repetitious, guttural flapping of sinus tissue and kinked airways. Its a fatal flaw that I have tried, in vain up until this point, to solve. Because the loudness of the snoring isn't an issue, earplugs make it quieter, but do not block it out entirely. Foam earplugs are comfortable enough, but don't reduce it down to zero. Gel earplugs feel as though I'm being violated by a slug, but once again, the snores persist through and find their way into my inner ear. External noises such as a white noise generator, fans, soothing beach sounds, you name it, don't do the trick either. I've found myself red eyed, tears welling, exhausted, frustrated, and isolated at 3AM on a weekday, desperately trying to force my brain to ignore something that so clearly cannot be ignored. I have tried the over-the-ear style cups, which are great if you sleep on your back, but the second you turn on your side, the hard ABS plastic and crinkly foam sounds and feels like you've dipped your head into a bowl of rice crispies. In my quest to silence the beast, I found myself here. For $10, I found heaven. If I could find the engineer(s) that created these headphones, I would kiss them at their feet. I would name my first born child after them. These simple earplug/headphones are the only thing that worked. I simply plug these into my phone at bedtime, play any repetitious audio (like rain or a fan) and knock out, snoring be darned. They feel just like any other silicone earplug, but have a hair-fine wire that runs out perpendicular to the end of the internal speaker. This means that the cable is the only thing that makes contact between your ear and the pillow, and its so very delicate and small that it generates no discomfort and is easily ignored. I don't find it makes my ears sore, even after wearing them all night, and I don't have any heat issues either. While it doesn't entirely block out any snoring, it tricks my brain into paying attention to the 'noise at hand' and allows any external sound to fade away into blissful sleep. I no longer wake up, with a not-serious-but-maybe-serious desire to strangle my partner, and instead find myself making it all the way through the night, refreshed as could be in the morning. If that weren't enough to satisfy you, the build quality on these are great, although I wouldn't go skydiving with them or anything. The audio quality is what you'd expect from some teeny tiny speakers, and no one on planet earth would listen to orchestral music through them. But for sleeping on planes, these rival a lot of my noise canceling headphones that cost up to $200-300. I've purchased five pairs, just to scatter across my home, car, and anywhere in between, and I couldn't be happier.

Not the product being sold- received wrong product twice!
This used to be the product. They either changed the entire design or stopped selling this product. I have contacted the company and Amazon and neither seem find this important. I originally purchased the product featured- loved it- but the speaker went out. I contacted their customer service and they shipped out a replacement from China. After 3 weeks I received a different: 1-with the earbuds I was sent, the size is visibly larger when looking at them side by side or standing them up next to each other. 2- if you grip an earbud on the sides and push: The earbuds I origionally ordered, flex and squish. The earbuds that were sent do not squish or flex, when you press, feel solid, dense material. 3- if you look at the top of the design- where the speaker opening is- the material around the speaker is flat against the speaker on the earbuds I originally purchased. On the ones I was sent, the material around the speaker does not lay flat. The mold raises up and adds a lip of material. 4- the cord covering is visibly thicker on the ones I was sent. 5- the actual material that covers the earbuds is thicker and less flexible and also duller in color. Meaning, in the earbuds I purchased the black has a sheen and looks like silicon. On the earbuds I was sent, the black has a matte finish and feels like rubber. 6- At a larger size they are uncomfortable and do not fit. I was eventually apologized to for being sent the wrong product and asked to now use Amazon for the replacement as it would take less time to ship. I received the same (incorrect) product. I hae asked for someone in the company to respond to me, but have receieved no response. I very much liked and enjoyed the origional design earbuds that I purchased. i wouldn't have tried for as long as I did otherwise. It is unfortunate that after weeks of customer service and two wrong prodcuts shipped to me that I never got my replacement for the product. Nor do I know if the product is still being manufactured or if they have replaced it with a entirely differnt design.

Very comfortable, & Great sound for the price!
These are great little ear buds. Soft & super small so they fit right in the ear canal and very comfortable. Mine stay in all night in most cases. (unless I jerk to hard on the chord in my sleep) They also do quite a bit of noise isolation, so even when the music or videos I'm listening to stops playing, they tend to buffer noises around me significantly, but not to the point I feel would be dangerous. (smoke alarms, house alarms would all be easily heard, as well as your alarm clock.) The "flaps" on the ear buds are very soft material and conform to your ear canal. I'm using mine on an iPhone 6+ to listen to ASMR videos on youtube. I can either set up a playlist with a few vid's on it or just listen to a single lengthy video. I'm usually asleep by the time one video ends. The sound quality is great for ASMR videos and I've used them for music as well as phone conversations and I've rec'd no complaints. I have purchased 4 sets of these for family and every one has had the same feedback as mine. Comfortable, great sound, and well worth the price. They also include a carrying case which comes in handy for keeping them untangled in my pack with my gear. I did have an issue with one pair losing sound on one side after 6 months of use. My guess is it was my jerking to hard on the chord in my sleep. Sometimes I wake up wrapped up in the chord. But I contacted Toptele, and they shipped me out a new pair right away and were very friendly and caring in their service. Nice to find someone that really stands behind their product. I could still use the broken pair for phone conversations in one ear. Very happy with Toptele & their 1 year warranty!
