We weren’t expecting much when we bought this. We had severe bed bug infestation in our apartment. Bed bugs would be on the ceiling and drop on us. That was so crazy. So we bought this and plugged it on each room. The first few days, seemed like it was working. Well, we did our precautions and did a lot of cleaning up in our apartment too. We took out the old carpet, put in laminate flooring. Filled all the gaps on the basebord, holes in the wall. To sum it up, a lot was done. Altogether, I think our efforts went along side each other and really got rid of the bed bugs. It took around 4 weeks from our cleaning and slight renovation with the use of this repellent to bring the bug count to zero. All in all, you got to put in the work too. Not just fully rely on this.

We bought four of these units and set them up around the house with one in the garage and had it for months. It's an old house with many tiny holes so we have insects in the house frequently, so I figure to give this a try. After having four of these around the house for several months, it does not seem to do anything. Insects still fly around in the house unaffected and just the other day I saw a big roach hanging out in the garage just several feet within one of these things. The devices are not obstructed so it should be getting good coverage. I fear this might be similar to Lisa Simpson's anti tiger rock.

I installed Saturday afternoon. Ant free Sunday then masses of ants coming out today but the directions said that it would drive them from hiding. That part is coming true.Hoping tomorrow they will be gone. It says it takes 3 or 4 days so wondering about reviews just giving it 24 hours. I have tried everything so hoping this works and will update.

Our beach condo's monthly bug spraying is a joke. We had some roach traps around the place on top of it hidden here and there, but it still wasn't doing the trick. The buggers still loved the kitchen cupboards. GAH! (I get that it's the south, but still...)Bought these: problem solved.Woot!Highly recommended.And in response to people that are saying these have any audible sound - I have the most sensitive hearing (for real - mouse ears; I can hear a tissue fall on the floor in another room; my husband makes fun of me for it) and I hear nothing. Not.a.thing! And these are in two rooms I occupy most often.

I had to send these back as they did nothing to repel small house ants. My kitchen is taken over by them, and nothing works — I tried various ant sprays, traps, and these ultrasonic plugs as the last resort. There was no effect whatsoever, and the ants still crawled all over the counters, although all food is now sealed in plastic bags. My kitchen is very large and long, so I used both plugs, one near the floors, another right above the long counter. Both plugs were turned on for 24 hours. Unfortunately, I would not recommend these specifically for ants — perhaps they work well for other pests.

The product is straightforward: Out of the package and into the wall, it immediately lights up and activates. I had high hopes because of the positive reviews. Sadly, this did not help in our space, and the pests walk right by it. Disappointing. I have animals in the house and prefer safe options, so I was hoping this would do the trick. Yet they remain unfazed even after months of leaving it plugged in. It’s supposed to take time to work. Well, I gave it time. I guess spray and gel truly are the only solutions.

I brought these down to Guatemala. The places where I stayed are infamous for mosquitoes, but I hardly had any problem with mosquito bites at night, in my hotel room, while sleeping, even though there were small gaps in the doors and windows of the rooms I slept in. I'm assuming these units helped with that.

I’ve never had a problem with roaches in my apartment until this Spring. Despite keeping my home clean and dry, I see them large, medium and small. I did research that stated that ultrasonic pest repellent didn’t work but I was desperate and didn’t want to use chemicals.I got a 2 pack on Sunday and didn’t notice a difference and then yesterday for the first time in weeks if not months I didn’t see one roach. Today I opened a cabinet and a roach fell out confused and clearly experiencing discomfort. It was at that moment I realized that these devices work.If anything changes I will revise my review but 48 hours Later I was impressed.
