HG 1 Liter Extreme Power Cleaner

This cleaner works extremely well. I used the HG Heavy Duty Tile & Grout Cleaner on bathroom grout with heavy buildup, and it noticeably brightened the grout after just one use. It’s very powerful, so only a small amount is needed, and it lifts dirt quickly with minimal scrubbing. The scent is strong, but that’s expected for a heavy-duty product. With proper ventilation, it’s easy to use and delivers excellent results. Great choice for deep cleaning tile and grout that need a serious refresh.

Obtained by email in advance of ordering, directly from HG, advice concerning best product to use for a specific purpose on a rough marble floor. Recent constituent change (December 2025 in the UK) of a well known cleaner whose name begins with ‘F’, rendered the surface of rough marble tiles, suddenly very slippery. My dog and a human both injured by falls ! This most definitely worked in removing the residue.

Cleaned my floor tiles great

Perhaps the floor that I clean is just too filthy, but just the name of this product made me think it would be great. Sadly not. It's no better really than your standard "Flash" floor cleaning product yet more than double the price. If your floor is so bad (and I'm talking not being cleaned properly for years) perhaps think before spending out on this product and research alternatives. Even using a stiff broom to scrub didn't really make an impression!!! (By the way it's not my kitchen floor I'm cleaning!!)

My wife and I have used various HG cleaning products over the years and have found that each of them did a great job. Therefore, when I found out that HG did a floor tile cleaner I didn’t hesitate to buy a bottle. I purchased the 1 litre carton and, on receiving was pleased to find that it had been sensibly packaged and sealed to prevent any spillages. The product is easy to use: just dissolve half a litre of the cleaning fluid in a bucket containing 5 litre of lukewarm water. I applied the mixture to our kitchen floor using a mop, then used a long-handled scrubbing brush to work it into our ‘grainy’ tiles. I left the solution on the surface for a few minutes, then went back to work with the scrubber. Afterwards I removed the solution using a mop and a bucket of fresh water - did this a couple of times. Overall, we’re more than happy with how this product cleaned our tiles. 👍
