Totally fantastic chocolate line, highly recommend!!!!!
I’m a hard core chocolate lover ( bitter, bitter sweet, and milk) and Marou chocolate bars are absolutely fantastic! These were a recent discovery - I’ve tried a couple of their different single origin bars, and the Marou Pho Spice Bar which I ordered on Amazon right before Christmas. Their chocolates have incredible flavor, are crafted from few ingredients, and melt nicely in the mouth. I ordered the Pho Spice Bar in time for the Christmas holidays since the listed spices reminded me of the ones used to make Caribbean and English Christmas season black spice/pudding cakes. I was not disappointed! The bars have a pronounced, exotically spiced flavor, very delicious. The plain single origin bars I’ve had were all great too, highly recommend these chocolates and find them worth the price. Evidently Vietnam produces terrific cocoa beans. The chocolate truly has an almost fruity (chocolate fruit, that is,) quality, owing to the single origin thing and I suspect somewhat minimal processing. The beautiful packaging on top of the quality made them great as gifts to a few chocolate lover friends. A new guilty pleasure and I look forward to exploring more of this line!
