Clubman Pinaud Hard to Hold Styling Hair Gel, Strong Hold, 16 oz

I am SO glad I found this product! First of all, $6 for 16 oz. of gel is a great deal any way you slice it. Secondly, if you don't like the traditional "Clubman" scent, why are you even looking at this? I have found the scent to be just the right strength - not too strong but pleasant. Also, the scent seems to fade as the product dries - bottom line is that it is in no way overpowering. The gel properties are equally satisfying - the gel provides a nice sheen for your hair and great non-sticky, non-flaky hold that's not too stiff. I've been using hair gel for 25 years and this stuff ranks right up in the top 3 I've ever used, even without the pleasant scent. Another plus is that for whatever reason, I find that a little of this product goes a long way. It's very "good quality" I guess you can say, meaning it's not watered down. A little dab will do. Combine the pleasant scent, the great gel properties and the bargain price and you have a winner for anyone who likes the Clubman scent. I just hope they continue making this for years to come!

Great. Gives all day hold with very little product used has clean refreshing smell. Great price point and good value. Will buy again.

Holds well, I used the Garnier 10 extreme hold until it was discontinued. I tried other Garnier products to no avail. I keep my hair short but need something that holds well, slightly wet look, and is quick and easy. This doesn't hold quite as well as the good old Garnier spike explosion but it's close enough. It has the pleasant smell and can be rejuvenated with a quick rub with damp hands.

Nothing fancy, just some good, old-school men's hair gel that gets the job done. I typically use it right out of the shower, rubbing it into damp hair and then blowing it dry before I apply a little pomade to finish it. Works great, has a light finish, manly (?) smell and gives my hair natural, light hold. PRO: 1. A light, manageable hold. Not stiff and sticky. 2. Smells more manly than many gels I've used. (This can be a pro or con, depending on your sensitivity.) 3. A little goes a long way. CON: 1. This tub is HUGE. Seriously. I have a feeling it'll last me several years. Should have ordered the smaller size. 2. The smell is both manly and somewhat old-school barber ship-y. Depending on what you like, you might love it or you might hate it. Overall, good stuff. I'd definitely buy it again.

Great product

Love the product. I feel like I just got out of the barber shop.

This has the traditional aroma of the Clubman aftershave or hair tonic. This is as good as any styling gel from any other supplier. A little more expensive, but I was impressed with the nostalgic aroma and as such, I’m willing to pay the extra for it.

As advertised. The product worked well.

Muy buen producto

After years of using Axe Hair Gel, I decided to switch to Clubman after I saw it on sale on Amazon. I was very surprised at the amount of gel that fits inside the container. This gel will last a very long time compared to Axe Hair Gels. If you want a wet look in your hair, use a normal amount of this right after taking a shower. If you want to style and hold the shape, you will need to use a larger amount to get it to hold. It also has a very nice smell that isn't too strong. If you are looking for a new gel to use, then definitely give this one a try. What's good about this product? ☑ Very large container that will last long. ☑ Can use it for a wet look or styling. ☑ Nice subtle scent. ☑ Affordable. What's bad about this product? ⚠ No cons that I could think of.

Smells great! Gives you that barber shop feel. It’s not the best hold in the world, but I enjoy using it.
