This thing is incredibly bright and doesn't run super hot. So far, so good. But I just had to replace it because it burned out after almost exactly two years. It's pretty expensive for two years worth of light ... but I'll probably order the same device again because while it lasted it was awesome.

Just what I was looking for. a nice bright cool bulb. works great for me. just be sure that your light will fit the size of the bulb as its quite a big one. the screw is your normal lightbulb socket, but the bulb size is MUCH larger.
