I absolutely love this brush. In the 70s my mom owned a hair salon they only used & carried Denman brushes. I brushed my hair last night with my new brush and this morning my hair looks so fresh and smooth - amazing.

This brush with the Wet brush is THE combination. I have extremely oily hair and a girlfriend told me about this brush. My hair feels absolutely amazing because it helps get my oils from the root to the ends. I honestly keep this at my desk because I love brushing my hair as almost a fidget. If you have oily and thin hair, trust me, you'll feel a huge difference. I normally am oily by the end of the day, but now I dont feel oily until THE NEXT DAY! my hair feels so soft and healthy now.

Love, love, love this brush!!! It distributes the oil in your hair so it doesn't stay greasy, you can skip a day of washing your hair without having to put chemicals (dry shampoo) in your hair. Honestly, I feel like it makes my hair grow too...probably because I brush it more often because it just softens my hair so much. I get that this brush is small, I'd rather have a small brush that is good quality than a larger plastic brush. You can brush your hair in sections. And yes, the handle is plastic. The listed price for this small boars bristle brush is on par, and very reasonable. It helps to detangle, it's durable and has a good grip on the handle.

I am going to premise this review by giving a little background about my hair. I am a natural 3B ringlet curls girl with VERY soft, fine hair but I have A LOT of it. I have 95% 3B curls with some 3A looser curls around the nape of my neck and ears. My hair holds a curl very easily and I don't really have to do any major styling to achieve my ringlets. The one very random, major issue I have with my hair is unlike other ringlet curl girls, my hair does not clump together naturally at the top of my hair or have any sort of curl definition if I do not use a brush to style it. However, the length of my hair clumps all by itself. Wash Go's don't exist to me and I HATE the outcome. This is a more recent issue honestly and I am not sure if my curl pattern is changing or if its due to hard water damage. My hair is super healthy and I would say its a medium porosity level. It likes both protein and moisture and I really don't lack in either one. I never need more than a cream and a gel to style my hair and I always defuse it. I have used the 7 row and 10 row Denman in the past and while they did clump my hair, they did nothing for my root issue. I give you all this info so you have a basis of what my issues are and where my hair is at. Hopefully it will help you determine whether this brush is for you. My major goals with this brush: more clumping, less need for finger coiling looser areas, faster styling and to achieve more definition and clumping from the roots of my hair so it matches the lengths of my hair. This brush did just that! The other 2 Denman brushes I own are good but they didn't have tension I needed. I section off my hair and take about 2" diagonal sections pulling up and away from my face to create my clumps from root to tip. With this brush I am able to achieve that even clumping and curl pattern I am looking for. The tension on this brush is great and makes styling super easy and fast. I find the density and combination of different bristles grips the sections better. I style my hair soaking wet with my cream in it and re-wet to scrunch the gel in once I'm done brush styling. The result juicy, even, very defined curls. Who I think this brush is for: Soft, thicker hair textures ( Wouldn't recommend for coarser hair) Those who have trouble with clumping Girls curl training for ringlet curls Girls who style on VERY wet hair Who it's not for: Girls who are not focused on definition Girls for Focused on Volume - with more definition comes less volume Coarser hair types- the brush may not be strong enough or may even rip your hair Curly girls who have naturally well clumped hair Wavy hair girls who don't need clumping My one biggest call out with this brush is that I think that it will be something I have to repurchase at least 1-2 times a year. My thick hair is already starting to widen the outer bristles of the brush from the tension my hair places on it. For the results I'm getting though I don't really care. I have also tried the "Spornette Large Cushion Boar and Nylon Bristle" here on amazon and can say it may work for less dense curly girls as well. It wasn't dense enough to create the tension my hair needed to clump and left a weird part it the back of my hair that looked like the red sea separating every time I used it. It was super light weight and a really great brush for those who do not style in diagonal sections though. Hope this helps!

I have been wanting the Mason Pearson boar brush but the price just can't be justified and here comes the Denman boar brush. I was skeptical of this product because really, how can a brush really do all those amazing claims?! Received my brush after a few days of ordering it, ran the brush through my scalp and holy crap the bristles were too intense for my tender head. I immediately processed the return. I decided to give it another shot a week later since I hadn't had the chance to return the brush. Let me tell you... This time the bristles weren't as intense and it definitley left my hair looking and feeling soft and frizz free. I've had frizzy hair my whole adult life,no matter what products I use. This brush has definitely changed the game for me that instead of going for my usual bob cut, I've decided to grow my hair out and see how far this takes me. I love this brush so much that I take it with me wherever I go, even on days I just have errands to run. Buy the brush! You will love it!

I don't understand the hype of this brush. I originally purchased it to help with static cling but it didn't do that. It works like a normal brush

Only used it once for a quick brush and it left my hair feeling wonderful! I usualy use my detangle brush then my regular boar bristle brush, but I can't get to them at the moment— I locked them in a piece of antique furniture, cause I'm an idiot, and the key isn't wanting to unlock the drawer... not the point haha— and this brush is a really nice hybrid of them both! Only reason I didn't give 5 Stars is because the packaging is awfully cheap and arrived looking like it had already been opened. Definitely a bit of a disappointment considering the price is a bit more than a plain old brush and I was worried the bristles had been damaged, though thankfully they are fine.

Se avete capelli radi e super fini che tendono ad annodarsi questa è la vostra spazzola. Districa da dio, cento volte meglio della tangle che già rispetto alle spazzole normale è un grosso passo avanti. Non spezza i capelli, non li elettrizza, ma soprattutto li pettina senza tirarli. Per me a distanza di mesi è insostituibile!
