Awesome sauce!
Got for our grandson! Bailey Ryan Approved them! He's having a blast opining them too! Some are very small so please don't let little peeps play with this!

Fun for both kids and adults!
This is the second time I've bought this and its honestly so much fun for both the kids and adults! It is something I would recommend doing outside on a nice sunny day as its easier to get to the gems when they are wet. The cool thing is that the gemstones are like chalk so it was extra chalk for the kids to play with! I got this for my daughter and my bfs 2 kids, which gave them each 4 a piece to find the gems, which they had so much fun! For what you spend on it, is well worth it! Not to mention, it would be an awesome thing to give away at a birthday party! They do have tools for each gemstone, which is a plus!

Comparing Dig Kits
I purchased this and Hapinest Gemstone Rock Dig Kit for Kids as Christmas gifts here on Amazon, buying both because only six of the included gems match between kits. This was the notably more expensive option, however the specimens so far have all been smaller, 2 are misidentified on the listing photos, and this set does not include any identification cards or the map included in the less expensive set. There is still the fun of the dig, and the pink gem-shaped blocks are visually appealing, but if I repurchase this type of item, it will definitely be the other brand. Note: this is not an instant gratification project. It will take some time for a child to excavate each find. If you're buying for an impatient youngster, you might be better just buying an assortment of polished rocks.

Arrived on time and in perfect condition! Bought for a whole 1st grade class and they all LOVED it!

Fun but small
My kids love all these kind of digging things, but the rocks inside were pretty small. We used these as a birthday party activity and Iโm pretty sure 1/4 of the kids lost them immediately. Still fun but Iโm not sure worth the price.

Not what I expected
Students were disappointed and I was embarrassed. Most of the stones were extremely small and difficult to identify.
