Love this products quality. Definitely worth it , no bad odor at all. Im a new plant mom w two indoor plants and i used this to repot my plants with and they have been thriving thank god. Lol

I like this bark! The pieces are very small in comparison to more big name brands but I actually prefer that because most of my orchids are in 2-4 inch pots. I don't think the standard size bark would fit at all in my 2in pots and not very well in the 3in pots. I mix the two together for my 4in and 5in pots. I bought the 2qt bag just to try it- don't be surprised that the 2qt bag is very small, especially in comparison to the bags you might find at the store. I've used this bark in 5 pots (one 2in, one 3in, and three 4in) and still have enough left for probably 2-3 more pots depending on size. None of the bark had mold on it and there were no pests or anything. I did notice that when I kept it in one of my cabinets (dark and dry), the bag would end up with a small amount of condensation inside, which was causing the bark to get slightly moist. To try and prevent that, I now keep it cracked open a tiny bit when I store it- just enough to let it air out. The bag is resealable, which is nice.

This brand has the smallest chunks of bark I've ever seen. They were all petty uniform in size. I found this useful in my chunky potting mix when repotting my smaller hoyas and other starter plants. My usual brand has much larger chunks of random sizes that are sometimes too large and have to be broken up, so I can see the utility of something like this. I would probably buy again as it's useful to have on hand, but not for use in my everyday coco coir, perlite, bark mix. If they have a medium- size chunk, I might consider that next time.

I actually just finished using my bag yesterday. I use the bag to repot all of my orchids and I had to wait for a specific time to pot each one very easy to use. They did not have a strong smell, but the smell was very woody and almost refreshing. The quality was very good almost all the bag was wood chips with a very small amount of ground wood, fiber, and the small little white balls that I sometimes refer to a Styrofoam. I’m not sure if that’s exactly what it is, and there were no bugs in the beginning and even in the end when the bag sat for a while before I finished using it.

I had a chunkier bark mix that I didn't like and neither did my orchids, so I tried this recently. Repotted all my orchids and now they're happier! It's holding more moisture for them and the roots are much happier. Sticking with this one. Glad I tried it!

Very nice orchid bark potting mix. Nice size of the bark chips and quite a large bag for the cost. I was able to repot several of my orchids and l’m sure they are very happy too.

The product is as good as other comments said. Barks are in decent size. Will buy again for my baby plants.

As for the quality-id ok, amount is disappointing.

Chunky. Smaller pieces than I would maybe have preferred but works okay. Note this is Pine.

I love it. It's perfect. Small bark nuggets for aroids and orchid mix. Nothing else mixed not. THere's not a bunch of dust at the bottom of the bag. No funky smells either. Premium product. Will buy again.
