It worked for my deebot n79. A while ago my vac started making noise. I was able to clean the hair off the motor's gear by following instructions from a YouTube video. The noise went away for a long time. Recently the terrible noise returned when the vac would clean over carpet. There wasn't any hair on the gear this time. This replacement motor fixed the noise problem. There were no issues with instillation. You will need to thread the small screws into motor with force as there is no threading.

The motor is a direct fit replacement. If you are handy with a screwdriver, the swap is pretty straight forward. A couple mentions:-Polarity of the leads to the motor are correct-Connector to the main circuit board is a good fit-Perfect alignment mounting to the existing gearbox (using existing belt)-No "Main Brush Fault" warning or beeping (symptom prior to motor replacement)-Saves $ vs replacing the vac

Our Ecovac N79 kept giving a Main Brush error. After finally opening it up I found the stock motor was totally seized up. Since that was the extent of my engineering knowhow I ordered this replacement. It fit perfectly and has been running smoothly ever since.

It's exactly what I needed; the brush in my robovac stopped working & the entire unit would error/stall after 10 seconds. Replacing this piece fixed the issue.

Useless without the cable, my n79 has it’s micro cable soldiered in, it’s not interchangeable for this new motor.
