Galison Michael Storrings Paris Puzzle, 1,000 Pieces, 20”x27” – Fun and Challenging – Piece Together a Charming Paris Scene Complete with the Metro, Cafes, Shops, and the Iconic Eiffel Tower, 1000

This was a challenging & fun puzzle. The pieces snap together well & stay together. I had no missing or extra pieces. The colors are bright & I really like the subject of Paris. There was some puzzle dust but not a horrible amount. I put all the pieces in the lid, shook gently & then took the pieces out & shook out the dust in the bottom.

overall, I liked the puzzle. challenging - especially the tree parts - pieces fit well together and not many false fits. not much puzzle dust. some card board damage for some of pieces, but overall I experienced no major issues. Really like the artwork.

Thought I would try a puzzle with all this time off and this one looked cute. I’m glad I got it. It wasn’t easy but not too hard either. It did take some time to finish. All the pieces were there and it it was fun to assemble. I liked it so much, I just ordered another one from the same artist.

This is a fun scene, and relatively easy for those of us who never work any puzzle < 1,000 pieces. For me, it was a nice respite puzzle after I struggled with a real killer. I was aware of the negative reviews about missing (and extra) pieces, but my puzzle was perfect. No peeling. Excellent quality for the price, and I won’t hesitate to buy another Galison puzzle again.

Thought for sure I was missing edge pieces, as others reported, early on and expected it to be the issue in the end, but thankfully they were all there. Gorgeous artwork, but the smaller pieces than what I was used to made it difficult and long. Compounded by the the yellow buildings with all the windows and trees, trees, and trees. LOL It was simply harder to do and that is OK, but wasn't prepared for it so frustrating at times. The pieces do NOT lock as others stated and it made it impossible to move sub assemblies easily. On line reviews praise Galison for their locking ability so not sure why this does not. Additionally, the pieces do easily de-laminate if accidentally picked at. The pieces are also much thinner than I was used to making them very difficult to pick up. It was not uncommon to make 3-5 attempts per piece at times. All-in-all, love the artwork, but would do some careful research if I was to purchase a Galison again.

Wheeewww this puzzle almost made me retire from my puzzle hobby. It is challenging! I got up from bed in the middle of the night a couple of times just to chip away at it some more lol. The buildings and the trees took forever to figure out. At one point you have to just start trying random pieces to try and finish it. This would be great for a family to work on together.

Granted I am not the best puzzler around but by the end of this I was done with Paris :D It is however a beautiful piece and I did glue it together so we can hang it on the wall!

This was my first puzzle in many years. Really did not expect to love it as much as I did and it's possible I have a new hobby. I worked on it more than I thought I would and kept returning to it during the day. It was satisfactorily challenging, but not bitterly so. The pieces were mostly precisely cut and solid. A few began to separate during the process. Very happy when completed. Two pieces were missing. Enjoyed it enough to order two more puzzles by this company.

This puzzle was challenging but I enjoyed every minute of it! A beautful winter day in Paris! Look forward to adding more Michael Storrings puzzles to my collection.

Esse é o segundo quebra cabeça que eu compro dessa marca e só posso distribuir elogios. A qualidade do material da Galison é de se dar inveja, mas é justificado pelo preço (cerca de 200 reais no Brasil). A peça tem um acabamento em verniz, não descasca ao encaixe com outras peças e pelo menos pra mim, não veio nenhuma peça faltando. Um ponto extremamente positivo dessa marca é que os quebra cabeças vem em uma caixa dura, ou seja, não é daqueles que você tem que jogar fora assim que monta, sabe? A compra foi internacional, não fui taxada e chegou até uns dias antes do prazo. Entrega e suporte da Amazon são excelentes também! Só tenho a dizer que sempre que vejo algum quebra cabeça dessa marca com um preço “bom”, meu dedo coça pra finalizar a compra!
