The papaya gets 1 star. The rest gets 5 stars. It is delicious, I just wish they'd use significantly less papaya in the mix. Preferably 0 papaya. The papaya is easily the hardest to chew and most tasteless fruit in the whole bag. The rest of it sweet, delicious, and fairly soft as far as dried fruit goes. I'm genuinely considering buying 2 pound bags of all the other fruit from this company separately just to make my own mixed fruit, but I can't reasonably allow myself to spend that much money on dried fruit just to not have the one I dont like.

There was a good and even mix of fruit in my batch and everything was generally bite sized besides the longer strips. However the taste is completely off (pineapple did not taste like pineapple at all, the papaya is colorful but no flavor, the kiwi tasted like it was bad prior and the strawberry tastes artificial) can tell there are a lot of dye additives before even looking at the ingredient list. Unfortunately almost every single fruit has either dye additives, imitation flavor additives or both which I think has a major affect of the quality. Honestly wish I could return cause this is not getting eaten.

What more could you want. It's really great.
