Surprisingly Spacious and Well-Thought-Out!
I recently picked up the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L, and I'm genuinely impressed. As someone who's struggled to find a sling that balances capacity with comfort and sleek design, this one hits the mark. I'm planning to use it for travel as my personal item and use my backpack as my carry-on Pros: Surprisingly Spacious: 10L doesn't sound huge, but the clever internal organization and expandable design make it feel much larger. I can easily fit all my camera gear, Osmo Pocket 3, Canon M50, Insta360 and all the gear needed for charging Excellent Organization: The internal dividers are customizable and well-padded, keeping my gear secure and organized. The quick-access front pocket is perfect for small essentials like keys and memory cards. Comfortable Carry: The padded strap and back panel make carrying a loaded sling comfortable, even for extended periods. The stability strap is also a great addition for active use. Premium Build Quality: As expected from Bellroy, the materials and construction are top-notch. The weather-resistant fabric gives me peace of mind in light rain. Sleek and Minimalist Design: It doesn't scream "camera bag," which is exactly what I wanted. It looks stylish and professional, making it suitable for both photography outings and everyday use. Quick Access: The top zipper allows for rapid access to my camera, which is crucial for capturing fleeting moments. Cons: Price: It's definitely a premium product, and the price reflects that. However, I believe the quality and design justify the cost. Stability Strap Placement: While the stability strap is useful, some people might find the placement a little awkward depending on their body type. This is very subjective. Limited side access: while the top access is amazing, there is not much side access. Overall: The Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L is a fantastic sling bag for photographers who value quality, organization, and a minimalist aesthetic. It's perfect for carrying a mirrorless setup and essential accessories. If you're willing to invest in a premium bag, I highly recommend it.

An excellent and comfortable camera bag for travel, or every day use
I have looked long and hard for the right bag to hold my Fujifilm XS20 camera with lens attached along with two additional small lenses. The Bellroy 10L camera sling has more than enough room for that equipment along with extra camera, accessories, my wallet, phone and a few other personal items without feeling bulky or awkward to carry. The bag is made with a very nice material and has quality features, good padding, stitching, and taped zippers. It’s not advertised as a waterproof, but the rain rolls off of it and it seems to be quite water resistant. The feature I like most is that the fabric dividers are actually SEWN into the bag - not secured with Velcro. They are still very adjustable– easily moving back-and-forth to accommodate different lens/camera combinations without having to pull out and move dividers every time you change lenses. Why has it taken so long for a bag manufacturer to think of this!? The sling style is ergonomic and very comfortable. I am a 5’9” female and find the bag to be a great fit for me. Not too large or heavy, but also roomy enough to hold everything I want to take with me when I’m out for the day or when traveling . The zippers open wide for easy access and the pockets and features are well thought out. I’ve purchased (and sold) many Camera bags over the years and I’m thrilled to have finally found one that I want to keep! Very happy with this purchase.

Could be great
I’ve bought and returned this bag twice now. I really like the bag overall but it falls short in a couple areas, for me anyway. The bag is nice, I like the fabric and the way the bag is padded - not as stiff as other camera sling bags but still protective. This was the main feature I was drawn to. The other was the idea of the non- velcro dividers. Great idea but the problem with them is that if you use small lenses, like M mount lenses, they could possibly slip under the divider and into the next section where your camera or maybe another lens are stored, leading to scratches or dings. The dividers are flimsy and not attached at the bottom of the bag. I was able to put my 2 small lenses in the side pockets but I didn’t feel like these pockets were much protection. If you use larger lenses this shouldn’t be an issue. My other gripe is that there isn’t a grab handle on top of the bag. Small gripe, I know, but the bag is wide so when I went to pick up the bag I was always searching for the strap on either end to hold it to pick up the bag - not sure if I’m explaining this clearly or not. Overall I think it’s a nice bag and if Bellroy made a V2 with a grab handle and better connected dividers I would buy it again in a heatbeat. But for the price of the bag I have a hard time getting past these 2 issues.

Bellroy 10L Venture Sling Review: The Perfect Travel Bag?
I've reviewed this on my YT channel and my website. Here is a snippet of it. The Pros: Why It Shines There are three specific areas where Bellroy truly set itself apart during my travels. 🌟 1. Comfort That Destroys the Competition This is the game-changer. I wore this bag for 12 to 14 hours a day in Japan. Usually, by hour six, my shoulder is screaming, but the Venture Sling stayed comfortable for days. The strap padding is fantastic, but the real magic is the ergonomic profile—it sits naturally against the body. The adjustment mechanism is incredibly smooth. I could cinch it tight against my back while navigating crowds, then loosen it instantly to swing it around for a quick shot. 📏 2. The "Sweet Spot" Capacity At 10 liters, this bag hits the goldilocks zone. It’s wider rather than taller, which is a massive win for mirrorless users. My gear lays flat and accessible rather than being stacked on top of each other. What I fit inside: Main body (Canon R6iii) with lens attached A secondary prime lens DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and DJI Mic Extra batteries, memory cards, etc Battery and Cards Fit in a small pocket at the top portion of the bag. ✨ 3. Premium Build & Stealth Style Bellroy is known for aesthetics, and this matte finish doesn't scream "expensive camera gear inside." Beyond looks, the water resistance is the real deal. Japan threw some heavy downpours at me, and the interior stayed bone-dry. The padding feels robust enough to handle the inevitable bumps of international travel. Other Build Features I Love: Adjustable dividers: These can move to make room for a camera with a larger lens or form a traditional 3 slot main opening for more items with a smaller lens on the camera. Opens from either side: The zippers can be opened from either side making this bag ambidextrous. Battery compartment: There is a battery compartment that makes good use of the top part of the main compartment. I store my DJI mic there too! Compresses: Now I will also mention this as a con for some, but the fact that this bag hugs your body and compresses when there isn’t a lot in it means it stays comfortable and in place unlike structured bags like the offerings from Peak Design. The Cons: Where Bellroy Missed the Mark No bag is perfect, and there are a few design quirks you should know about before buying. Lack of Structure: When the bag isn't fully packed, it tends to slump and lose its shape. It really needs a more rigid bottom or side panel to help it stand up. Access on the Fly: Because of the soft structure and zipper placement, grabbing gear while the bag is still on your body can be a two-handed struggle. Integrated Dividers: Now I love this but others may not. The dividers are adjustable, but they are sewn into the lining. You can’t fully remove them but you can move them to either side to turn the bag into one giant open cavern. Missing "Passport" Pocket: I really missed having a dedicated, flat zippered pocket on the back panel (the side that touches your body) for a passport or phone. The Buckle: While functional, the main plastic buckle feels a bit flimsy compared to the premium metal hardware found on other high-end bags. I’ve had ZERO problems with it however. Bellroy vs. Peak Design: The Head-to-Head The question everyone asks: Is it better than the Peak Design Sling? Here is how they compare: Featur Bellroy 10L Venture Sling vs Peak Design Sling (V2/V3) Comfort Good, but stiffer; can cause hotspots over time. Superior. Better padding and ergonomics for long days. Versatility Higher. Looks like a standard bag; more discreet. Very "techy" look; clearly a camera bag. Structure Lacks structure; slumps when empty. Excellent. Holds its shape perfectly. Access Wider shape fits mirrorless bodies better. Better buckle and more premium exterior hardware. Gear Fit Fits gear wider/flat. Fits gear taller/deeper. The Verdict: Is It "The One"? The Peak Design Sling admittedly has better hardware and a more robust structure. However, for my specific use case—street and travel photography involving grueling days of walking—comfort is king. The Bellroy 10L Venture Sling is simply more comfortable to wear for long periods. Period. It’s discreet, it’s weather-proof, and it fits a complete street photography kit perfectly. After two weeks in Japan, I can confidently say this is the bag that finally replaced my Peak Design.

Doesn’t feel like 10L
Really wanted to like this sling bc it really does hug to your body and it designed very well. However, I just couldn’t get over the fact that this bag is advertised as a 10L bag, but fits less and is physically smaller than the Peak Design 10L (it feels as if it’s the same volume internally as the Peter McKinnon x Nomatic 8L sling). The dividers are a bit flimsy and can’t be removed, but do provide ample amounts of space between them. There’s no space for a tablet, which is another disappointment sadly (going back to the fact that this bag is advertised as a 10L, the PD can fit my iPad Pro or my MacBook Pro 14”). For anyone who is looking for a sling to daily carry or travel with a light kit, this could be a great option. Like mentioned above (and numerous time by others), the bag hugs your body very well and is very comfortable to carry around. It’s got a decent amount of space inside for a FF camera (best with lens detached if it’s a bigger lens) and can definitely fit an APS-C camera no problem. Sadly had to return this because of the sling not being quite as spacious as the PD 10L (either this sling is true 10L and the PD is just big, or this sling isn’t actually 10L in the main compartment).

Not good for Cameras
After watching a bunch of influencer YouTube videos and reading some blog posts, I decided to order this bag. First off, it's very tiny! I would say it's sized between the Peak Design 3L and 6L bags. It's very tight and doesn't open wide making it difficult to get a camera in and out. The internal bottom floor is very narrow. There is almost no padding even on the bottom which was a complete deal breaker for me. It's just a well made sling bag with some cheap fixed / floppy internal dividers. I'm not sure why they made them fixed rather than using Velcro like everyone else. If it wasn't marked as a camera bag, I would never think it to be one. It came with absolutely no packaging. Amazon put it in one of their cheap super thin single use plastic bags and it arrived on my doorstep like the pic attached. It totally makes sense that the cheap plastic buckles on these bags break if that's how they are shipped. They are slammed around in the warehouse and trucks with no padding whatsoever. Strange that Bellroy would distribute them like that. The bag is also overpriced. I would say it should be at least 50% cheaper than the $175 price tag. Also, probably because they are stored in the Amazon warehouse without any packaging, and probably no plastic bag until shipped, it smelled of the perfume smell they spray on most products. I recommend the Peak Design bags over this one.

Roomy sling with flexibility
This is my 2nd Bellroy sling product and I’m happy with both. They are well made and utilize good materials. Zippers are weather sealed, robust, and easy to open/close. The main feature of this sling is the built-in dividers. Although they are in a fixed position (not removable), they are rigid enough to keep a camera separated from personal belongings. And when not carrying a sizable camera, the design of the dividers allow the bag to have a slimmer/lower profile when worn against the body. I haven’t taken it out in bad weather but I would not take it out in heavy rain or snow - the bag isn’t completely closed when the zipper is closed because of the design of the bag. There are 2 spots at the underneath the ends of the main zipper that are not completely closed when the zipper is closed, which means there is a chance something can fall out of the main compartment, or water/dust can get in. However, this has NOT happened to me. Just something to be aware of.

The closest to perfect sling bag I've ever owned
I'm a bigger guy at around 6' with a dad-bod, so some of these nice yet smaller slings look kind of silly on my type of frame. So when I decided to go all-in to a bigger sling bag, I wanted something nice that could accommodate my daily carry items while still smaller than a messenger bag. I think I found the perfect (for now) sling bag. My daily carry includes: Ipad mini 6, Canon M50 mirrorless camera with a 22mm pancake lens, a small power bank, my wallet, pen, pencil, Leatherman Wingman, OLight i5T flashlight, airpod pros, sunglasses, and my keys. On top of this, I can also fit my Nintendo Switch Lite in there as well, and maybe another lens, if I wanted to. It will start to get a bit too bulky for my taste at this point, but still viable. I love that this bag can compress down to a slim form when I have less stuff in it. It looks more streamlined. I have a similar sized Peak Design camera sling but it stays bulky no matter what's inside of it. My only gripe with this sling is the partitions. They are stitched into the bag, and while I can still manipulate them to be able to fit my iPad mini 6, I still wish they were detachable. I'd love to be able to buy more partitions if I need to customize my loadout for a day of shooting photos. But, since I keep a small enough camera with a slim lens, I don't mind. I would absolutely recommend this sling.

Just buy it. It’s fantastic.
Wow. I love Bellroy Bags - I have many of them but have always considered this bag too small for my mirrorless camera and two additional lenses. I’ve spent countless hours watching nearly 50 review coders of bags from all the big makers to try and find a sling that holds my camera and lenses without feeling too big to carry with me. I want easy access without needing to put the bag done in a dirty floor or forrest path. I thought I’d give it a try, with the small hope that it would work, and it’s amazing. Just as comfortable as my other Bellroy sling, even with all the gear inside, and fits the camera and lenses in the perfect grab and go orientation. I’m so happy. This answer has been staring me in the face all this time. The flaps inside the bag are not talked about enough. They are very flexible and also fold out of the way. It’s great design, allowing this bag to be used in any ways without the annoyance of bulky removable dividers. I do wish it was just a tiny bit wider and had a little more pocket space for taking other items along, snacks for example, but as a company and incredible comfortable and practical bag, there is real magic in this very well thought out and sleek little bag. Just buy it. It’s fantastic.

Love this bag.
This is a great bag for travel, I used it around Europe, in combination with another smaller bag, but this one fits my Fuji XH2 and two lenses and other bits and pieces I needed, and didn't feel much bigger than my other bag for all the extra stuff it fits. It's understated in the looks department, but looks classy and well made. Good selection of pockets, easy to get in and out of. I like how I can wear it on my back and slide it around the front when I need to access my camera, or wear it on the front when I'm in an area I don't feel as safe in, or where there are thieves. It's expensive for a bag, to me anyway, but it's built to last and it's something I will use for a long time, so I feel its worth the extra.
