Good phone good deal
after my OUKITEL phone went missing........ i had to go get a new phone so was checking amazon first and seen this phone. i had Kyocera phone before. loved the screen. oh and yes a Kyocera is the only time when i got random screws nails and tools in my pocket im dinging out of the yard only time phone and that stuff goes in the same pocket... yea the body might get scuffed but the screen after you wash it back to shinny. well when you push a phones limits like i do it falls in to things like dirt muddy dirt can double as a coaster for a cool drink. I went to pour some bottle wetter on it and made a mess because when it started to get on the phone he went to snatch the bottle so clumsily fast it drooped on the ground i was like i was not making a mess you made the mess by grabbing the bottle. the look in his face no buddy no dont you dont have to no no dont lol PRICELESS. i will say so far the plastic that holds the gaskets on defiantly better than phones in the past. keep making them stronger and the phone more fun. people always ask when im rinsing off my phone or what not what case do you got on your phone and im like um no cace its just the phone. lol i dont need to go and buy a case why whould i buy a phone that needs a case now if i wanted one with a kick stand to watch moves of clips on to a belt but other than that why. and well just love this company. go go Kyocera go . look forward to tablets and laptops and who knows what else built this with tough fun and work in mind.

Liars or Lunatics
Normally, I’d say whoever graded this product would have to be BLIND in order to consider this ‘Excellent Condition”, but even looking at this product through my legally blind eye I could easily see the defects on the device. Calling it ‘good’ would even be a stretch with the amount of faults the product had. For starters the back of the device looked like it had gotten mauled by a grizzly bear with the amount of cut and scratches. The rest of the body of the phone looked like it had spent time on a gravel laden escalator just falling with the amount of indents and wear on it. Even worse it did not come with a sapphire screen as far as my tester was able to tell. The way the battery was dead upon arrival and the fact that it was lighter compared to phone it was replacing has me doubting that it could even claim to have a battery that reached the 80% it was supposed to have. There is no way I could imagine someone would call this 'excellent' without having to be lying or being extremely deluded.Tl;DR – The quality is not ‘excellent’ barely even good, and you're liable to have a safer gamble on quality buying it open boxed from someone on eBay.

Not good!
Phone had glitches and would change screens on its own. I returned it for another one, and the replacement works great.Thank you,Allen D.

Nice rugged phone
I've had the DuraForce Pro, and then the DuraForce Pro 2 before this phone, and liked them both (had them for years). Old phone locked up on me and could only be brought back by prying off the case and reinstalling the battery, and after that the "waterproofness" was surely compromised. Decided to get the next gen, so I picked up this Ultra 5G.Its quite a bit bigger than the DuraForce Pro 2, just FYI. I didn't realize it at the time of purchase, but I'm fine with it. The larger screen is nice. Only taken a few photos but the camera is definitely better (it was only fair on the previous two Kyoceras). The waterproof doors are designed much better and its easier to access the charge port etc. The power button seems to be a little harder to locate with your finger. Its missing a slightly raised edge around the button that the previous offering had. Battery life is great. This thing is built like a tank (and I like that). Lighter/thinner phones just feel like they could break if you breathe on them. I'm pretty careful with my stuff, but if I accidentally dropped it or something like that I feel like it could take it (my old Kyocera survived several accidental drops on concrete etc).Only gripe I have is the first time I ordered, the box said Ultra 5G on it but there was a Pro 2 in the box instead (and it did look kind of beat up, with a slightly chewed up case that I wouldn't have been very happy with). Sent it back promptly and the next day the Ultra 5G actually showed up in the box. And it was in great shape (looked new).

Came with bloatware, not 'excellent condition'
I buy phones outright instead of through my carrier precisely because I do not want the carrier-installed bloatware. This phone has all of the Verizon apps, and the annoying, eye-bleedingly bright Verizon splash screen on bootup. Some of the apps (not all) can be disabled, but they can't be deleted. The phone was listed as 'excellent' condition. By Amazon standards, it might qualify as 'good'. The back is clearly well-worn, as if the phone was previously used for months or years - the writing on the back is worn down around the edges. There are scratches on the front deep enough to feel, and there is dust inside the various dust covers. For a used phone it is in passable shape, but don't expect something even remotely 'new' looking. The battery was completely dead when it arrived. The phone would not boot up until after it had been plugged in for almost half an hour.I've had a hard time getting apps downloaded and installed.I reached out for support and the only option I was offered was to return it. Decided to give it a day, but I'm not able to find a way to remove the bloatware, and the keyboard started glitching.Returning for a refund.
