Good for daily use....!!
Recently I purchased the ASUS Vivobook S15 OLED 2022 model and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and design. The laptop features a stunning 15.6-inch Full HD OLED display that delivers vibrant colors, deep blacks, and excellent contrast, making it a joy to work and watch movies on. Powered by the Intel Core Evo i5-12500H 12th Gen processor and equipped with 16GB of RAM and a fast 512GB SSD, the Vivobook S15 handles multitasking and demanding applications effortlessly. Whether I'm editing photos, streaming videos, or running multiple browser tabs, the performance remains smooth and responsive. The laptop's design is sleek and modern, with a thin and light profile weighing just 1.8 kg, making it easy to carry around. The build quality feels premium, and the ErgoLift hinge raises the keyboard for a more comfortable typing experience while improving airflow underneath. The inclusion of Windows 11 and Office 2021 out of the box is convenient, offering a seamless user experience with the latest software features. The Iris Xe Graphics deliver decent performance for casual gaming and multimedia tasks. Battery life is another highlight, lasting around 8-10 hours with regular use, which is impressive considering the OLED display's power consumption. However, one minor drawback is that the laptop could get slightly warm under heavy load, but it doesn't affect performance significantly. Overall, the ASUS Vivobook S15 OLED 2022 is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a stylish, powerful, and portable laptop. It excels in display quality, performance, and battery life, making it ideal for both work and entertainment purposes. It is value for money deal.

A review from a programmer for programmers
Multitasking: Check Runs Docker + WSL2, Kafka Cluster, MySQL, Redis Cluster, ELK, Prometheus + Graphana, Minikube cluster, Multiple Idea IntelliJ instances , STS, VS Code , Multiple Chrome tabs, Muliple command windows and a whole lot more simultaneously without breaking a sweat. Heating Issues: None I hv never heard fan noise of any kind. No heating issues obesrved. Display: Check The display is gorgeous (although a bit glossy). Brightness is excellent. 15.6 inch panel size means a lot of code can be on the screen at any point of time which aids debugging. Battery life: Sufficient 70Wh battery lives upto expectation. With brightness set to 50% and on balanced power mode I get a backup somewhere in the region of 6 to 7hrs(with all the above mentioned softwares running constantly). Charing is fast as well. The battery is juiced up to 99% from 20% in about an hour's time. Build Quality: Solid Feels solid in hand. The brushed metal finish ensures thare are no fingerprints and smudges visible on the exterior(screen being slightly glossy gets a few though). The 180 deg hinge means the laptop can be set to a comfortable viweing angle as per your need. Bundled Softwares: MS 2021, 1 yr McAfee subscription, My Asus app all add to the ownership experience. Others: All necessary ports available. 2 Thunderbolt ports mean data transfer is a breeze. The microphone+headphone jack combo port works quite well. Support for wifi6 and Bluetooth 5.2 also makes the laptop quite future proof. Backlit keyboard with 3 lvls of brightness adjustment is pretty cool. Fingerprint reader is implemented pretty well. Support for hdmi2.0 accounted for. Price: A big plus Got it for 70k during a sale which is damn good value for the hardware it packs. Cons: -The wight is slightly on the higher side. At 1.8 KG its not exactly light. -The speakers could do with a bit more loudness. -No laptop bag bundled. Had to purchase one separately. -The RAM is LPDDR4. -No lid sensor.

A Dream Come True for Power Users and Creatives
I recently purchased an ASUS OLED S15 K3502ZA laptop during the Great India Festival sale on Amazon in October 2023 for Rs.57,490/- after a card discount. I've been tracking this laptop for over a year since it launched in May 2022, and I'm thrilled to finally have one in my hands. This laptop is a beast. It has a powerful H-series processor, a long-lasting 70Whr battery (one of the largest batteries on the market), and a stunning OLED display. I'm especially impressed with the display. The colours are incredibly vibrant, and the blacks are truly black. It's a perfect display for watching movies and TV shows, or for editing photos and videos. The performance of the laptop is also excellent. It can handle even the most demanding tasks without any problems. I've used it for gaming, video editing, and programming, and it's performed flawlessly. I'm also very happy with the battery life. I can easily get 7-8 hours of use on a single charge, even with heavy use. This is a huge plus for me, as I travel frequently. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my ASUS OLED S15 K3502ZA laptop. It's a great all-around laptop that's perfect for students, professionals, and gamers alike. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful and versatile laptop. **Pros:** * Powerful H-series processor * Long-lasting 70Whr battery * Stunning OLED display * Excellent performance * Great value for the money **Cons:** * None that I can think of **Overall rating: 5 out of 5 stars** **Recommendation:** I highly recommend the ASUS OLED S15 K3502ZA laptop to anyone looking for a powerful and versatile laptop. It's a great value for the money, and I'm sure you'll be happy with it. **Additional tip:** I also recommend purchasing the 3-year warranty with accidental damage protection from the ASUS website. It's a great way to protect your investment.

OLED screen and Intel 12th gen are the heroes
First I was looking for a laptop for mainly work and media consumption. I was very keen on getting the Intel 12th gen as the performance gain was massive from last and the AMD 6000 series hasn't been seen in this budget. Asus was the only one having the 12th gen chipset and the OLED display just intrigued me more. PROS: *OLED display - Just WOW. Look at how the display has it's colours and blacks side by side with my more than 1lakh Asus Zephyrus. *12th gen Intel i5-12500H is more than enough for the coding I do and the CPU bound game just works so well. *My Asus software - it's got your OLED care(save you from burn ins), battery management, AI Noise cancellation (Battery takes a hit if you have it on), FAN speed, Updates, Functions and what not. *Type-C charging and the charging brick itself is small for a 90W. *Keyboard - A good keyboard with good typing experience, it takes time to get accustomed to the keys coming from a normal desktop keyboard. *Intel EVO certification does provide you some good as for the High speed SSD, RAM and a battery way above it's competition (70Whr) CONS: *The hinge. Yes the hinge is flimsy and has creaking noise when opening and closing. Also you can't open with one hand:( *Battery. Doesn't provide 9hrs as mentioned and from the stock setting it is provided with(Only 6-6.5hrs). You got to turn off the AI Noise and Sound, Fan mode to Whisper, Change performance to Battery Life. Then you could increase it by 1-1.5hr. Performance takes a hit for sure in these setting. *Fan noise. Keep it in balance or whisper you won't hear much but just crank up the load and the fan just screams. Overall: If you can live with these cons just go for it. The OLED screen just made up for it all. Watching media just feels so good in this display and yes the Windows experience is also very smooth in this comparable to my Zephyrus from Asus. And also check for service centers nearby you as mine is very much near which is also a reason. Asus is also one of the manufacturer to provide extra 2 years warranty for โน999(check asuspromo.in). Thank you. Have a nice day:)

REVIEWED AFTER 3 MONTHS USE, Beware display is not anti-reflective.
Battery, display brightness and overall performance are very good, but the display is not anti-glare and sometimes the display is flickering and this is annoying. In my case, all Bluetooth speakers and headphones' audio output left and right channels are reversed. And in this price range users must expect DDR5 ram but it has DDR4 which is disappointing. Apart from this laptop is very good.

Good allrounder - with scope for improvement
First the GOOD: Great performance, vivid screen, long lasting battery with fast charging, good build quality. Good support software from ASUS, plus 1 year of McAfee built into the package. The mediocre/bad: Screen colours may be oversaturated and need adjustment in the graphics card. Peak sound output with the bottom firing speakers is quite low and perhaps its weak spot, external speakers may be necessary for the best media experience. Can't definitively talk about the microphone quality yet, but seemed adequate. Other minor quibbles: Would have preferred the type-C slots on opposite sides, another USB 3.0 port would have been nice. Also the fingerprint scanner (power button) is a bit quirky especially at startup, though it might be a software/Windows issue rather than the laptop itself. Overall, it's a great product providing very good value in this price range compared with its competition.

My experience: 1st Reliability then features.
I purchased it on 14th of May 2023 and received it by 26th june 2023; just within a month of light usage it started malfunctioning, I gave it my all to troubleshoot and fix the issue, it worked fine for a week then suddenly it stopped working. Symptoms: screen black out, flickering, screen freezing, stopped taking all inputs only power button worked but now it has completely stopped working. I called their customer care service but they too were very unreliable as the product itself. What happened: I called them to ask for warranty claim, they gave me two options to get their services (if my device is registered and under warranty) 1. On-site service and 2. Service center. Like any other person I chose the 1st option and gave them my details on 12th June, they said I will get an email from their engineer within 48 hours but I didn't got any response from them until I called them back on 17th of June. They told me that my location is not within the range (2 days wasted). Conclusion of the story: First comes reliability, available service center nearby you; then features and stuff. This would be my 1st and last asus product. This was my first laptop๐ข BE CAREFUL when you are investing so much money. Especially if you are a student like me. (Just an advice: HP or Dell recommended if you want something reliable.)

Value for Money
Pros: 1. Value for Money 2. One of the most beautiful displays I have ever seen in the last 15-20 years. 3. Performance is excellent(you need to switch modes with shortcut key) 4. Decent Battery life 5. Lightweight and slim 6. Fast Fingerprint 7. 3GB/sec copy speed, 1-2GB/sec write speed with existing SSD 8. PCIE 4 Version (Youcan use SSDs that support 7GB/sec seq read) 9. Having 12 Cores (4P+8E) & 16 Threads, it's more than sufficient for software programming(not for ML/AI programming as it doesn't have a dedicated GPU), photo /video editing is very fast for any normal video(1080p) editing on Premier Pro or Lightroom for photo editing 10. Fast Charging (adapter size is also small) 11. 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports which support 40 Gbps Cons: 1. As speakers are down-firing, you will feel that the volume is low(speaker outputs are good, it's just the direction which will impact). 2. RAM is DDR4, at this price range and considering the year 2022, DDR5 should have been supported. (12th gen CPUs support DDR5) 3. 16 GB ram is not sufficient as 6-8 GB will be consumed by IGPU 4. Only one RAM slot, so max you can go with 24GB only (Onboard 8 GB + 16 GB in the slot) 5. Webcam is ordinary, it could have been better
