can this be used for blow-drying? or will it melt?

No it didnt melt with a blowdryer. I held the dry directly to it as well. It does get a little more plyable( maybe bit softer) not a big difference. Got to use on my little cousins hair. She has really thick coil curly har. I believe she said its c-4 type. Mixed hair very hard to brush and take care of. Her hair is like brushing wool. It worjs well enough if you section and brush in smaller sections as with her hair with any brush. This brush is pretty comparable to my " hair crack" brush. Overall its held up fairly well. I hope this helps

Will this work on matted hair? My new growth hair matted at scalp from leave in conditioner.

Sorry but I have straight hair that tangles. Have never had matted hair. Brush works great on my hair. I have never used leave in conditioner so I don’t know if that might be the problem
