Lustroware B-2272AA Screw Top Keeper Round Food Container with Calibration, 25-Ounce, Blue

I purchased two of these containers for my son to use in his Science Olympiad event. I love that it has the markings on the side for 50 and 100 mL. My favorite part about it is the lid. We needed the lid to stay secure and this one twists on rather than snaps.

Lustroware is a brand I’ve found to be high quality, reliable over time and great sizes. This screw top, marked for measuring cup is totally watertight when properly closed. I use it to carry almond milk in my lunch and often find it on its side. Never a spill or mess to clean.

I love this so far. It keeps everything tightly sealed in my bike bag on the way to work. warning, though, if you put hot food in here and then stick it in the fridge, it creates a vacuum making it difficult to open. Try keeping the lid loose in the fridge until food has cooled.

I bought these containers to hold liquids, and in my current case - oil specifically. They work fantastic at holding liquids without me needing to worry about them spilling when I'm bringing them to work in my bag. The silicone(?) ring on the inside does a great job of holding everything sealed tight. There are 2 problems that I have with them though. The first one is fairly minor, but leads to the second being a bigger issue - when I pour things out of the jar, it dribbles pretty bad and I always have to wipe the side of the container. So this leads to the second issue. Part of why I liked these is because of the measure marks on the side. I know they aren't super precise, but they help me measure my liquids when I pour them in. The problem is that when the oil dribbles on the outside and I wipe it off, the markings have come right off with it. I would have expected something better from a product that is high quality otherwise

The container looked intact when delivered. But when I was about to use it for the first time, only then with close inspection did I notice that the lid had small cracks on it making the container not leak proof. I don't know if it was packaging or if they delivered a broken item but I am disappointed.
