Great carpet cleaning solution for spot treatment by hand, orderd this one with the spray bottle for home use after using them for janitorial work, as the spray bottle is very good, long reach, adjustable stream, and more durable than most household spray bottles. This cleaner works very well on cat vomit stains, i spray it on directly then suck it up with a shop-style wet/dry cannister vacuum, it rinses clean with plain water, and leaves no trace of stain. It can also be used to just spot clean with a brush and rag. It is high foamimg so its not recommended for use with carpet shampoo machines or extractors, but i suck it out with a shop vac and clean water with no issue. Smells really good, a nice industrial clean with a hint of citrus.

I purchased this not expecting too much and man was I impressed! My elder dog was losing control of her bladder and vomiting blood in her final days and this stuff took the stains and smell completely out of the carpet. I didn’t realize that I didn’t get the carpet shampoo until after I had put it into my carpet cleaner and did the entire floor, but it worked AMAZINGLY! Best $10.39 I have spent and will purchase again!

This stuff is MAGIC. Works very well on high traffic areas, but also removes a wide variety of stains! Use as directed: spray on and then cover and blot (I used rag towels laid on top and then walked on them). Stains get sucked out of the carpet in the most satisfying way! Two applications needed in some places and leaving the towels in place for a few hours helps on the toughest spots. Wonderful stuff!

I bought a carpet cleaner to clean up my mom’s home. When I lived there I rescued cats and while the kittens were all adopted. We ended up keeping the adult cats. Over the years they have messed up the carpets. Especially in the two extra rooms that aren’t really used anymore. Now this carpet cleaning solution is the cheapest one on Amazon. I wasn’t expecting much, just wanted to see how well it performs. Maybe it’s my carpet cleaner but I already used a gallon bottle on only 1/4 of the room. And it was extremely foamy. So for the remainder of the room I diluted the rest because I only had 2 bottles left. Filled the reservoir 1/3 with water and rest with the solution. It cleaned surprisingly well. I know I’m going to go over the carpet with an enzyme cleaner to get rid of the cat odor. But the carpet solution got the old stains up. It looks so much better and was definitely worth the purchase. But it was extremely foamy until I diluted it. I went with this because I just wanted to get the carpet cleaned up and to see how this new carpet machine works. I’ve already made multiple purchases of this cleaning solution. It’s a good cheaper option. And I’ll get a more expensive enzyme cleaner for the corners and walls.

I bought this product to hand wash my area rugs. I don't own a steam vacuum cleaner. I just dabbed the product on my area rugs (one white shaggy and the other grey low pile. I let it sit for 10 minutes and then used a wash cloth to scrub the rugs a little followed by a rinse using a hose. The rugs came out clean with no damage or impact to the color. Very satisfied with the product. Smells great too. I have also used this product to spot clean a stain on a yellow upholstered chair and the stain came off without issues and with no damage to the fabric or color. Highly recommend

We have two dogs that track stuff in, so our carpets tend to get dirty quickly. This stuff does an excellent job of extracting the dirt from our carpets in our Bissell scrubber unit. Low suds, pleasant smell, strong stuff! Zep never lets me down.

It’s a decent product that has a great smell and does pretty good work from the pet odor. Not sure about other things not really good for a high traffic carpet.
