Two of the clips came broken. They held my hair up well though.

I would highly recommend these clips for very long- straight, soft, silky and slippery hair. My hair is very fine, but very thick in amount. My hair slips out of most clips. I can twist my hair on the go, put a clip in my hair and it will stay in place all day.

I bought this product because it's flat. I've seen medical videos on what regular claw clips do to people when in an accident so I thought I would try these. It takes some work to find a good twist to hold it still but once you do it's great (hence the one less star, because it'snot just a clip and go). Plus I forget it's there because I do not feel my hair. So far they are very sturdy and can take being dropped and laid on.

Like many, I was looking for a claw clip that would allow me to lean my head back against a headrest, chair back, or pillow. I also appreciated the fact that the images shown appeared as though the models *might* actually be wearing the clips rather than the clips being added digitally. The clips arrived intact, but the "pink" was an unattractive shade of tan. I tried a few times to put one of the clips in my hair, and my hair kept flopping out on the sides. My hair is shoulder length with long layers, medium to thinner in thickness. Because of the clip's orientation, it just doesn't have enough surface area to securely grip hairs of varying lengths. In addition, the prongs are too far apart to keep those stray hairs in place. (Contrast that with a 3.5" clip that has close-set claws its entire length and is attached to the hair vertically... but protrudes from the back of your head.) Disappointing. I'll be returning these, unfortunately.

I have very thick hair but it is around shoulder length. If it were longer these would probably not hold but now they are perfect. The reason for 4 stars is the package with pink is not a pink color which is why I purchased that set. It is more of a camel tan color???
