Not my favourite baby carrier
Bought this at 4mths old and tried it at numerous stages over a year …. Unfortunately neither me or my baby have really liked it at any stage! I wanted the comfort of a soft fabric wrap (I have both a Hugabub and Solly and enjoyed using both but baby is too heavy now at 1, and they are a pain to tie, especially if baby then decides they don’t want to be in it!) with the ease of buckles for a quick up, but it’s been a disappointment. I find this carrier uncomfortable on the back and shoulders, and dislike the waist band both when folded over for small babies and when worn normally for bigger babies. Baby has never seemed comfortable in it and never once fallen asleep in this, unlike my other carriers. The leader at my parents group saw me using this around 6mo and remarked she didn’t like it either when she tried it. It looks pretty and I wanted to love it, but it’s not the one I reach for most often. I’ve ended up just keeping it in the car as a spare if I need one out and about (it does ball up quite small for storage and is very light). YMMV.

Perfect hybrid carrier!
I own a baby ktan and ergo baby 360. This carrier is the perfect combo between a wrap and structured carrier. I purchased this for my 5 month old who only contact naps in the carrier. I needed something supportive that wouldn’t kill my back but also lightweight and comfortable for baby. The ergobaby 360 was way too structured and bulky for everyday use at home. It’s definitely a great carrier for outdoor adventures because it provides so much support but at home it was uncomfortable for me. The baby ktan was great while baby was a newborn but I felt like it stretched over time and my baby was not sitting properly. Baby would slide around. Also the baby ktan would pull on my shoulders and the fabric would bunch up in the back making it very uncomfortable. I would be in pain every day. The embrace has softy stretchy jersey like material that is very comfortable! It provides light padding in the right places for me and baby to be comfortable. The should straps don’t pull on my back or shoulders. I’m easily able to sit on the rocking chair and snuggle with my baby. The straps are also not restrictive at all which allows me to move around and get things done around the house. The ktan would limit me to move my arms up and down so doing anything was very difficult and painful! I love that the Embrace clips on which makes it very easy for me to put my baby in and out of the carrier and it’s easy for family members to use when watching the baby which was something I struggled with the baby ktan. It’s very hot where we live and I love that the fabric is breathable so I can take my baby outdoors with it. I’m a petite woman (4”11” 113 lbs) with a long heavy baby and this carrier fits well. It could be a tiny little bit smaller in my opinion but it’s very hard to find carriers for petite women that don’t cost so much $$$. The ktan size xs fit me great but the 360 was way too large for me. I had to cross the straps and even then the straps would bulge out and didn’t fit comfortably. If you’re petite I would def recommend the Embrace. The price point on this carrier is great value for your money! I love the colors it comes with! I purchased the pink and it’s a soft pink color 😍. I do wish it came with a detachable hood like the 360! It’s also light weight enough that it folds down pretty small to fit in the diaper bag. The ktan and the 360 took up so much space. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and my baby is comfortably napping as I write this review 🥰
