I have had lateral and medial ligament tears in my ankle. I've also fractured my fibula and tibia in the past. The most recent injury was my peroneal tendon. Needless to say, my ankle has been through a lot. I got this brace in the hopes of providing more support than my kevlar wrap from my orthopedic. (I was still able to brake my ankle with the medical grade brace I was prescribed.) I can honestly say that this Ultra Zoom Ankle Brace is the best thing I've tried. It physically doesn't allow lateral or medial sprains to occur. It's not uncomfortable to me because I've been wearing a brace for 10+ years. The bottom plate can potentially rub if you don't break it in or are not used to wearing any kind of brace. I am able to wear it in my running shoes and my soccer cleats. It has really good range of motion and still allows competitive play. I can FINALLY feel confident knowing my ankle isn't going to roll or be smashed in by another player on the field. Highly recommend to any high intensity sport players who wish to protect and prevent ankle injuries. This has helped me avoid surgery and allowed me to continue to play with peace of mind.

These Ultra Zoom ankle braces work great they do help with my ankles stop rolling in They fit secure maybe a little snug but still comfortable. They're lightweight and very flexible it took me a little bit of time to get adjusted To them but now it like second nature. If you have problems with weak ankles give these a try.

When I found this on Amazon. I was very exited! I am a stroke patient who have to use a AFO plastic brace to walk. Very difficult to put on because I have dorsiflexion problem with my foot. This brace looks like the bottom half of my AFO brace and from the video online this brace looks very comfortable and easy to put on with great range of motion! So I thought it doesn’t hurt to give it a try. The only thing I was skeptical was the comfort since the braces I tried before all had a space for the bone on the side of the ankle. But to my surprise this brace is well padded no pain at all. It wraps around the middle of the foot leaving the ball and the heel of the foot free for gate movement(heel to toe motion) I am very excited since my custom made AFO has a stiff plastic on the bottom of my foot to correct my foot drop problem. But when I try to do the natural heel to toe walking pattern. It’s impossible and huts very much because the straps on my brace are extremely tight I feel like the straps are cutting off my blood circulation. This one solves all those problems! Expect my foot drop problem. I showed it to my therapist. He looked at it and told me he doesn’t feel comfortable for me to wear it because he said although it provides great range of motion it also makes it unstable to protect the ankle and my ankle is still too weak.🙁I took his advice into consideration and practiced walking with it slowly little by little I found that it works great as long as I don’t walk too fast. I really don’t have any problems with it so far. I can exercise with it comfortably. At least for me. But if you have an injury you probably should ask your therapist or doctor first before jump back into normal sporting activities. My opinion is this brace is probably good to prevent injury and not to support an injured ankle. It does require practice and getting use to. If anything I wish the Velcro straps that wraps around the middle of the foot can be stronger. It is bulkier than other brace I guess it has to be to support the ankle so I recommend wearing shoes 1/2 size up or get a wide shoes in your regular shoe size so the shoes won’t be deformed. Since it allows normal gate movements. I’m walking better without the pain and circulation problems of my hard AFO. Overall I give it a thumbs up. Tho price is very reasonable for the function it provides! If all all you have is a minor ankle injury that needs minimal support. It is worth to try it staring slow with your doctor’s instruction of course. Since every injury is different. If all you need is looking for ankle injury prevention like the video on Amazon. Since I can’t do regular sports. I can’t tell you if it’s comfortable or secure to wear it doing any sports. I do love this brace!

I bought 2 of these and have been using them since 2/21. In 6/19 I broke my foot in a softball game and finally healed by 2020. I took a whole year off to fully heal and get past the injury PTSD. I bought several ankle supports so I could get back to playing, but nothing was comfortable out of the cleat let alone in my cleat. These were expensive but worth it. I got one for each foot, I labeled them because I read somewhere that it'll break in to your foot. I will say, they are not 100% stiff like when I got them but more like 80-85%. They have not given in and provide plenty of support. I have never doubted them in a game, and it allows me to perform without the feeling to hold back and baby my foot. This comes in handy because I play 3rd base which requires a lot of quick lateral movements, and I am confident when wearing these braces. I wear them every game now, and it's worth loosening up my laces and readjusting my cleat. My cleats don't feel loose when wearing this brace, and I have not injured my ankles since. I would highly recommend and I am actually going to get a new set in white now that I have white cleats.

I thought it was a nice brace but my daughter didn’t like it when she dives for volleyball. Anyway, I purchased it Jan 27, but my daughter didn’t try it until March 3, and didn’t like and the return winds is closed

Purchased this brace for basketball. I only wear a brace for my left ankle. After 3 months of usage, I developed bone spur on my left heel, due to the heel constantly landing on the hard plastic wrap under the heel when wearing the brace. As the pain became much more intense, to a point where I had enough trouble simply walking around, I realized the cause of the issue. I switched to a different brace right away, and after a few months, the bone spur issue became very manageable, and my heel does not hurt after a basketball game any more. Buyer beware. If you land on your heel often when wearing this brace, keep in mind that it may cause unwanted injury.

I recently purchased two Ultra Zoom ankle braces for my 12 y/o daughter. She has played club since she was 8 years old and plays various positions during school ball, but primarily is setter so she is constantly moving on the court. She also happens to have flat feet. And those flat feet seem to be the issue causing pain and causing her to roll her ankles due to poor anatomical positioning and pronation of her feet. I was hesitant about buying these for her after reading the reviews and visiting the website and not seeing anything in regards to flat feet so I decided to call the company in hopes of getting answers to my questions and I was pleasantly shocked that someone actually answered the phone! I spoke with Rick (who was extremely helpful) and he not only answered my questions but assured me that the Ultra Zoom has excellent results in athletes who have flat feet. He also stated that he has personally worked with various athletes from various ethnic backgrounds who are prone to flat feet and pronation of the feet and the Ultra Zoom has helped them tremendously. So, after my conversation with Rick I decided to buy them for my daughter. She really likes them!!! She said the first day wearing them was a little uncomfortable due to "breaking them in" but after that they have been great. No complaints from her. She says they give her the support she needs and don't allow her ankles to roll out of place. As her Mother, I am happy when she can play a game she loves without seeing her in pain! I just put the ankle support on my ankle and I feel immediate confidence. I have a grade 2, nearly grade 3 tear to my delta ligament. It’s been 3 years and I don’t have great stability in the ankle so I’m always thinking about what I’m doing and limit certain activities for fear of completely blowing the ligament or causing injury to the tendon. With this support I feel like I can now hike and do other activities now that the ankle is supported and the brace will help prevent further injury. I just bought new athletic shoes designed for ankle support. I was afraid the brace may not work since the shoes have the elastic laces, not tied. I thought I may not be able to open the shoe enough to get the brace in, but it worked with a little patience and getting my toes in as far as I could before trying to get the heel in. A light pinch of the heal part of the brace and it worked well. I also love that this brace has both leg and foot straps to secure the brace well. Sizing seems accurate. I live in the tropic so my ankles can swell in the heat at times, like today. Puffy or not, the brace always fits. The brace does add a little bulk that could stretch out certain shoes over time so I would recommend having separate shoes for the brace and for those without if your shoe material could be stretched by the extra bulk. Overall, I am extremely satisfied.

When I received this, I was sure I was going to return it, as it seemed too sturdy to even use within a shoe. I decided to try it just to see how it would fit and it was surprisingly comfortable. Then, decided to go on a volleyball game with it and I will definitely use it in every single game from now on. It gives A LOT of stability and it barely hinders flexibility. I was able to play even football with it, and although it was a bit more uncomfortable, the stability makes up for it.

My daughter plays Usport Vball in Canada 🇨🇦 and this the only one she will wear. Far superior to others in the market (competition) with its structure - weight and features. Highly recommended. But expensive when replaced yearly - but better than a year long injury recovery. Saved her from major injury - many, many times. The best of the best

Anckle roll is my Olympic sport and I win gold every single time. I've twisted my anckle really bad yesterday at work. It's pretty supportive, tho the padding is...almost none. (Bought the one with one strap on the anckle, one on the foot) I DO NOT recommand to wear with work boots(maybe a higher model) as it hurts more. Make sure you do not wear it with expensive shoes. The back of the foot plate is quite large and sharp and it damages the inside everytime you put your shoe on/off. Over all, for an anckle that's already twisted, 10/10 I recommend. I will wear it at work when it's healed to see if it does prevent anckle roll. (I'm the perfect tester, my anckles are terribly weak for some reason)
