I purchased this voice recorder for my son to use during university class lectures, so that he could take better notes. This recorder captures speakers very clearly, and has been working with no issues since purchase. It is user-friendly, and reasonably priced for what you are getting. I definitely recommend this item to others looking for a simple but cost-effective way to help with studying.

Works just fine

Ive been using this voice recorder to record my hypnotherapy sessions for my clients and it has met/exceeded my expectations in many ways. I was looking for a device that I could easily connect to my computer to streamline editing and sending recordings, all with good sound quality. This recorder delivers on all fronts.It did take me a little bit of effort to figure out the controls using the buttons, but skimming the manual set me right.This is the voice recorder you need if you want quality and functionality at a very affordable price. I definitely recommend.

Wow, I must say I was wondering how will this be, but to my surprise, it's super fantastic. Sadly one or 2 folks gave this low stars. But it works great. I have yet to try the voice activation, nor did I put any password. Don't need it. The recordings come out crystal clear, n sharp. Of course if you record while in a car, you will hear the background sounds. Even while holding it, it comes out clear. I highly recommend this little marvel device.

Originally got this so I could record doctor's conversations.This has worked out really well for that.Can't always understand what the doctor is saying thanks to a thick dialect, or in the case of one of my doctors, The highest his voice will go is volume setting 3 on a tv. This has helped me to go back to conversations to make sure the doctor is saying what I think they're saying, and in some cases I'm glad I've done that because what I thought they were saying was not what was said, and I could also find places where what the doctor thought I was saying wasn't what I was saying, so I'm able to send the doctor a message to clarify.It can be a little trying to figure out how to scroll through the saved recordings, but with a little bit of gumption and perseverance it's no harder to figure out than an old VCR.Easily fits into a pants pocket with room to spare.Why not just use the record feature on a cell phone? Well, dunno about you, my phone's microphone is not meant to pick up conversations at a distance and has trouble with that, also whenever I use the record feature on my phone if a call comes in, or my alarm goes off, or I get a notification alert, the recording on my phone stops or gets interrupted.Solid battery life.Might want to consider looking up the legality of recording others. The state I'm in is a one person consent state. That means if I'm part of the conversation, and I give my consent that's all I need in order to legally record a conversation I'm a part of.

I read through the instructions and then started practicing on how to operate it but it is quite difficult to use if you ask me. Almost every command requires pushing several different buttons in confusing patterns. Even simple things like record, or stop recording, are difficult to figure out. If someone used it everyday it's possible to get used to the different routines but for someone like me who will only use this occasionally it is not going to work there is no way I would remember the sequence of buttons that I need to press for simple steps. I plan to look for a different recorder as I don't think this one will work

DO NOT RELY ON THIS! I just tried to use it to record a conversation that I really needed to record and the device is useless. I was able to record 19 conversations on it before, the other day I left it on the charger overnight, and now the battery is 100% fried and it actually recorded none of that. I was dating a gal who's a little coo-coo for cocoa puffs and really wish I had that threat she just made recorded. The device powers on for a few seconds, then shuts off but the battery still shows 100% charge. You can keep the device on while it's plugged in so yea, the battery is fried and I got nowhere near filling this thing up. Huge disappointment, should've used my phone to record, I'd feel a lot safer at the moment.
