After living with a battery that would barely hold a charge, it’s nice to have a usable laptop again. This battery was very easy to install. Removing the back cover screws took a T3 torx screwdriver (which wasn’t included). A plastic spatula (which was) popped the clips free and the back cover lifted off. The included screwdriver undid the screws that held the battery down and the new one was easily plugged in. Reversing the process and the laptop is as good as new… As recommended, I ran the new battery through a number of change/discharge cycles to condition it and it’s now working perfectly. A solid five stars.

The only oddity is that they tell you to "activate" the battery first, but I can find no information on activating a battery. I just did the "use until shutdown then charge to 100%" approach, and then set my battery power settings to its normal charging policy.

No need to add pictures, it matches my laptop as specified (and chosen). Battery came at 63%, and I used for about 145 minutes, and it went down to 18%, haven't had the chance to do 100% to 0%, but it worked out of the box. Now is the lifespan test, time will tell.

I bought this battery in May 2025, and just got around to installing it on January 1, 2026. I followed the instructions to use the battery till it hit 2%, then charge to 100%. The battery doesn't last as long as my old battery, and when it gets below 50% charge, it drains really fast. I have purchased a few aftermarket batteries and understand that they usually don't work as well as the originals, but this one is really disappointing. I just went to Dell and purchased a new battery from them, figuring that would be cheaper in the long run versus the hit-and-miss of trying to find a good aftermarket replacement.

I ordered one of these batteries back in May for a laptop I was refurbishing. It initially performed well but after several months would no longer hold a charge. You would charge up the laptop and it would be dead the next day even if you didn't use it. I was a bit worried because of the low price of the battery and that the description said 30 day money back warranty but nothing more. I contacted them via email through Amazon support and they answered within hours. They assured me that it had a 12 month warranty and they would ship me another battery to replace it with. They sent another email when the battery shipped and I received it 2 days later. Any company can sell something. It's how they perform after the sale that makes or breaks them. They were prompt, apologetic and very courteous and resolved the problem as well as anyone could. Their customer service is great. I service laptops and they have made a repeat customer out of me.

Only lasted 7 months. It's easy to install and a good quick fix, so I was considering buying another from them with the warranty this time but the price has gone from $27.50 to $38.99 in those 7 months :/

This gave my aging laptop a new lease in life. It fitted just like the original and now I dont have to keep it plugged in. Like most laptops the battery does lose power if not plugged in to charge for several days, this one is no different in that respect but I am so happy with the fact that I am no longer tied to a power chord to use it

Acheter 4 batteries, tester dans différents ordi entre 39Whr et 41Whr beaucoup moins que les 48-55Whr d'une originale HP neuve. Batterie ne dépasse pas les 41WHr tester avec plusieurs ordi, bios, application HP assistant et mêmes verdicts. Elle fonctionne comme une originale mais dure un peu moins longtemps.
