So I can't say enough about how much I love this brand for at home hair color! It's worth the price! I've been coloring my own hair since I was 14 and I've done it all and have tried it all. This is by FAR the best! This is my second time using this brand and I'm never going back to other store brands. First of all, it comes with everything you need. Better gloves, skin barrier, a cleansing wipe for after, and best of all a cap! Also the shampoo and conditioner is amazing and makes your hair super soft! The dye doesn't burn your scalp at all. Even darker colors for L'Oréal were burning my scalp pretty badly and destroy my hair & curl pattern for a few weeks. The smell isn't too horrible, it's definitely different, but it's from the ginseng. Also, the coloring is a bit darker after you first dye it. But after the second hair wash it does lighten up quite a bit and looks closer to the color on the box.

The best home hair coloring product I’ve tried! I’ve been coloring my hair at home since the mid-1980s, so I’ve tried a lot of different products. This one is the best! Admittedly, I usually purchase cheap-o hair coloring because the price tag didn’t usually make much of a difference I bought this dye during prime week, so the cost wasn’t quite as painful. But after coloring my hair this morning, I think I can justify spending the extra money on a regular basis. Reasons this product is better than what I have used: the color is beautiful and natural (not an easy result to achieve in the auburn color palette); my hair didn’t feel damaged after I colored it —not after I rinsed, not after I washed, and not after I conditioned; and it wasn’t as messy as the other products I’ve used (yes, I know home hair dye is messy and if I make a mess, it’s no one’s fault but my own —but I did the normal stuff and there was less mess). I definitely recommend it!

I’m a veteran box colour user who fell for the hype. This hair colour is a joke. First: the colour is nothing like the images and dried my hair out. I already have red hair and it turned it burgundy. Also, it comes with mostly un-recyclable components. For the price: absolute rip-off. You’ll be better off with any other brand. This is so much more expensive: trust me, you’re paying for their fancy “boxing” experience and an inferior product. Zero stars.

Madison Reed 6NCG Sardinia Medium Golden Red hair color is amazing! All my redheads (or want to be redheads) know how truly difficult it is to get a perfect copper red color. One that isn’t too bright, too orange, or too dull. This one is amazing!!! Even after I wash it several times the color holds up. It does lighten up some but is still a beautiful copper red. I wash my hair every 5 days and use a shampoo and condition made for color treated hair. I used to pay upwards of $150 at a salon for color that wasn’t ever the shade or shine I get from this box DIY color. I highly recommend you give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. Tip: for stubborn gray leave color on for 45 minutes!

Love the color, looks good on my hair very easy to apply as All Colors. fades a little earlier than you’d like it too especially for the expensive price you have to pay for it. i’ve been using it now for many years probably wouldn’t change.aaa

Omg. So if you’re like me and have absolutely no time for a salon visit, and prefer to save the money this kit is amazing. It’s like a salon experience in a box. Pros: -I hate color on my skin after my hair is dyed, in salon or out. This kit comes with a very effective pre and post color treatment to keep your skin dye free. -the gloves are a lot higher quality then you usually get and are actually comfortable to use. -the shampoo and confectioners have a minty, earthy smell. Very reminiscent of the high end spas. It is relaxing and I love that I don’t have that newly dyed hair smell and feel good at the same time. Cons: -the shampoo and conditioner are nothing reusable tubes like many diy dye kits. So it’s a one time thing, even if they give extra. Overall I really enjoyed this kit and will be using it again.

It seemed gental on hair how ever the color looked nothing like the Auburn I was expecting. I was thinking maybe it was due to my hair being previously colored, except for even the roots came in extremely dark almost dark brown with no red tint of Auburn to be found. Other than it being gentle on my hair, I don't think this is the product for me
