I bought this on accident (5x) thinking they were a well known brand. That said I am pretty happy with them. Pros: Good strength, fairly supple on tippet section, nice pre-loop Cons: butt section could be a bit heavier (noticeable with larger rigs), lots of line stretch (might not always be a bad thing if playing a fish in turbulent water)

Some of my favorite leaders. Good quality, nice taper, don’t break on fish.

I use these leaders regularly for nymphing with my 9ft 5 weight. No issues. Great price. Also work fine when switching to dry flies. For the price they can’t be beat.

I am very pleasantly surprised with these SF leaders. Having used these leaders for a couple of trips out I have got to say I’m impressed. They have a very nice turnover and present the fly nicely and in what I would describe as challenging conditions, variable winds coming from all directions and lots of Reeds to contend with. They performed exceptionally well with a full days fishing having to replace only one (wind knot & and eventually a snag seeing it off) compared to the pocket full of nylon leader I normally return with in my back pocket. Well made and worth every penny and save valuable time and so much less frustration. I will continue to use these . Well done SF!
