I needed some storage bags for my down comforters. I was going to sew a few but then saw these. It was cheaper to buy these than purchase all the supplies needed to sew them. I wasn’t expecting much because of the price, but decided to buy them anyway. These bags are made of a heavier muslin type of cotton. It’s not heavy like canvas, but more substantial than light cotton fabric. I was impressed that all the seams were finished, almost like a French seam. This takes extra time to sew and shows the quality of these bags. After I washed them they softened up and were the perfect size for my comforters. I would suggest re-knotting the cords and burning the ends to prevent fraying. Other than that, they were perfect. Don’t hesitate to buy these!

These laundry bags arrived smaller than the 24" x 36" specified size. I bought four sets to use along with two larger sized sets of laundry bags to store clothing, etc. in them. The size of the bags I measured ranged from 21.5" to 23" by 33" to 34.5". The width measurements include the slightly folded in section at the seam; the bag is evidently designed to bulge out slightly more internally than at the top and bottom of the bags. I wanted bags that would fit into fabric bins that I have so I specifically looked for large width bags, the length wasn't as important to me because I can fold the bags over as needed. I anticipated the bags would probably shrink a bit when washed so it concerned me that they arrived smaller that expected. If they shrank more after washing them they wouldn't properly fit the bins. Because these bags seemed fairly thick and well made I took a chance with them and washed them in a large bin along with two sets of 28" x 36" laundry bags that I bought from another amazon.com vendor. Both these bags and the other bags were difficult to saturate with water; I noticed they had large unsaturated blotches as I was washing them so I kept adding a little bit of detergent to the bin and swished the bags around until they were thoroughly saturated with water. I'm really glad I washed these and the other bags before using them because a lot of dark color came off the bags in the wash and rinse water. These smaller bags looked darker before I washed them but I think a little of the color came off the larger sized bags too. Too my surprise, after washing these bags in cold water and letting them hang dry, I did not notice a significant amount of shrinkage. They seem to have stayed the same size as they were before I washed them. I think the material used for the bags may have been pre-shrunk. That would explain to me why they felt so much thicker that the larger sized bags I ordered. Bottom line is they fit my bins and are well made but are not properly sized.

Excellent for Zero Waste Living! I use these for transporting redeemable Beverage containers. Hoping I can get at least a good year use with the sharp glass & Aluminum cans since the fabric is a thin linen. Perfect size for the weight of contents.

I ordered a 6 pack of these with the intention of applying heat transfer. After reading the other reviews I was concerned about shrinkage especially since I intended to apply HTV. So, I decided to wash first. I washed one in cold water and let air dry, and another in warm water and tumbled dried. Both shrunk to same the same proportions. Started out as 36 x24 before washing and approx 31x21 after washing. This will not be a problem for my purposes (as long as they do not continue to shrink with additional washings). I am grateful that other reviewers made me aware of this. If you intend to apply HTV to these consider washing first. The bags I’ve done so far, have turned out great and I will probably reorder.

They are NOT canvas as advertised, but are a good medium weight cotton muslin. The price is perfect for muslin at $4.25 each. I bought two four-packs (8 bags total). Well constructed with no raw seams - all french seams! Bag shrinks (cotton shrinks) and washed and dried on warm (as would be expected for a laundry bag!) the finished measurements are 22" wide x 32" tall. Still totally serviceable not only for laundry, but for storage of toys, linens, etc. They would be great to to decorate as craft projects - add some pockets, the fabric would accept paint, stenciling, embroidery, iron-on fabrics... I plan on using some as pillowcases.

Love these bags, good size. I was able to put a kind sized quilt in one for storage in my linen closet! I will be buying more! Would be perfect for Christmas Santa bags!

These bags are great, good size but not too huge. They are study and i like they are solid colored, providing privacy for whatever is in them. The draw-strings are good minor downside is the string part started shredding pretty quickly, i just melted it a bit with a lighter and they've stayed in tact pretty well.

Just what I needed to organise various ungainly items for a group of people. Well made and reasonably priced

Good value for laundry bags. Hold quite a bit. Would buy again.

We needed canvas bags to transport all our cottage bedding and linen to the laundromat and back. Great value for pack of six.

Exactly what I needed

These ended up working great once I did a strip wash of them. The Toggles fell off a few but they work well for what we got for them. The did havre a very distinctive Mildew smell when I unpackaged them hence the strip wash.
