Q: what is the warranty on this battery?

Battery didn't last very long. A week or two. I would look for original batteries or buy a new remote controller. I ended up buying a controller with cable. That also eventually went bad.

Q: Does this battery replace the LIP 1472

I'm not sure what that is. However, after using a couple of these batteries to replace the original controllet battery, I've found that the better course of action was to just buy a new controller. The batteries would not work after a month or so. However, this may be because of the controller itself.
