Excellent to learn how to snorkel
The breathing tube has a valve which prevents water coming in when submerged - excellent technology development (versus 1980's when the breathing tube was just a tube) - snorkeling experience is very different than swimming and is 100% positively amazing, even in a swimming pool - 100% recommend this product - buy for each member of the family that swims - would want more colors from this same manufacturer and feet fins to complete the set

Average set for beginners
I recently tried this mask and snorkel set and found it to be quite average. It is suitable for beginners and for casual snorkeling only. If you attempt to swim underwater and move around (turning, etc.), you should know that it's not designed for that purpose. Water enters easily, and the inner edges are not well-designed, making it uncomfortable. The snorkel is moderately comfortable. Overall, it matches its price point and is best for light, shallow use.
