Temperature control is a game changer
Trying to get a good fondue going with a stereo is an exercise in futility - electric is absolutely the way to go. The only baffling thing about this product is the warning on the 2 foot long power cable that you’re not supposed to use an extension cable - do they think that we’re all going to be having our fondue on the floor?!

Eas;y to Use and Easy to Clean!
I finally got around to making sure this fondue pot worked, and it performs as designed. It's a striking design in the red color, and appears to be well made. It's not like I use it much, but bought it to go with my Swissmar Raclette for a neighborhood Swiss themed dinner party this month. I love that the pot itself is dishwasher safe! Nice unit.

Not what was expected
We had an existing electric Fondue pot, but had people over for New Years. This Fondue pot didn't really heat thr oil, very low tempeture and eventually we just unplugged it and used our old one. Very disappointed and a waste of money!
