How is the 'women's formula' different?

This product was recommended to me by a natural doctor. She explained to me that this has the same strains of good bacteria as the regular formula PLUS strains of bacteria found in the female reproductive system. This is the difference that I understand.

Probiotics have greater stability at room temperature than generally realized and can be maintained for several weeks with minimal loss of 5% or less. However, the degradation would speed up over time, so it's still advisable to keep them tightly sealed (to prevent moisture from getting in) in your fridge.

Will this come refrigerated with an ice pack?

Actually shipping with an ice pack is not recommended for any probiotic. The ice packs only stay cold for a few hours and then after defrosting they absorb heat making the package even hotter. All probiotics are made with double or more of the probiotics stated on label to allow for loss in shipping. Even the makers don't ship with ice packs. You just need to make sure the place you order from keeps them refrigerated when they receive them
