I use this on my bedridden father, who is 93 years old. I had been using Aquaphor, which can be pretty expensive. One day, my dad’s nurse brought me Amazon Healing Ointment. At first, I was skeptical and wasn’t sure how well it would work. Then I ran out of Aquaphor and had no choice but to try it. I absolutely love it! Honestly, I can’t tell any difference. It works just as well as Aquaphor, but it’s about half the price. I’m definitely sticking with this one!

Works really well! I use this for a small cut on my face and it helped it to heal pretty quickly. I then started using it on my legs and back, which are prone to breakouts. You don’t need a lot, as it is pretty greasy but I highly recommend!

Works great. Inexpensive. Aquaphor generic, which is basically vaseline plus other ingredients. Not as greasy feeling as vasoline. Highly recommended.

I originally started using this as an alternative to traditional diaper creams because I wanted something that didn’t feel thick, cakey, or bunch up. It has worked extremely well for us. My son has never had a diaper rash while we’ve been using it, and I love how easy it is to apply. It does feel greasy initially, but after a few minutes it absorbs nicely. You also need much less than you might expect. The warmth from your skin softens the ointment as you apply it, making a small amount very easy to spread over a larger area. I’ve also used it personally on very dry skin, elbows, chapped lips, and the rough bumps on the backs of my arms from keratosis pilaris. For me, putting it on particularly dry areas overnight makes a noticeable difference by morning. I’ve used Aquaphor as well, and I honestly prefer this. It performs just as well, if not better for our needs, while costing significantly less. The 14-ounce container also lasts a long time since you don’t need much per application. As long as this version is available, I don’t see myself going back to the more expensive alternative. It has become one of those basic products I always want in the house.

Compared it to Aquaphor which fosts twice as much. Used in the past for skin healing after radiation treatments and for dry cracked heels. Wonderful product.
