Security wise yes it’s good, works well REALY cuts the paper capacity is very good and very easy to empty, as yet not reached any heat level issues Value for money yes I can recommend easy to use as it can be wheeled to where you want it then wheel it away for storage if need be

Love this item, so easy to use, cut my paper shredding time in half.

This fellowes shredder didn’t work. It constantly got stuck with only 2-4 pages. Note it’s meant to take up to 11 pages at a time. It stopped working in the first week. I contacted Amazon for a return and refund. They sent a replacement and never collected the shredder as booked for collection twice. I called them and they rejected the return item and requested I dispose of this shredder. A few weeks later they said they are going to charge me for the shredder they didn’t collect. The new shredder also gets stuck. I’ve purchased the shredder oil by fellowes which is thick and sticky. I’ve never experienced much a problem with a shredder before. Also my last shredder was not from Amazon or Fellowes. Very disappointing. It’s noisy, slow, gets stuck, the drawer jams, it’s bulky and definitely needs the wheels. Once the wheels are attached can’t be easily removed or fit in shipping box. No not good value for money as doesn’t work.

Design & Practicality: I really love the look of this Fellowes FS-12C. It has a clean, minimal design that doesn’t look like a piece of industrial machinery sitting in the room. It feels very robust, well-built and modern. The standout feature for me is the 19L pull-out bin. My previous Amazon Basics model had a tray, and I’ve learned that I simply cannot go back to the "lift-off head" style. The drawer makes emptying it so much cleaner and prevents that typical "confetti mess" all over the floor. Performance & Versatility: It’s rated for 12 sheets, and it handles that easily without straining. A huge plus for me is that it cuts through light cardboard (like the thinner Amazon shipping folders/envelopes). This makes it incredibly handy for disposing of packaging with your address on it. Maintenance: To keep it running smoothly, I’ve been using lubricant sheets after any heavy shredding session. So far, I haven’t had a single issue with paper jams or the motor overheating. The 20-minute run time is more than enough for a typical home office "clear out" session. Safety Features (A Big Plus): As a parent, the safety features give me real peace of mind: - The Lock: There is a physical lock switch on top plus a main power switch at the back, so I can leave it plugged in with total confidence. - The Slot Design: The paper entry slit is slim. I tested it, and it’s not wide enough for fingers to get anywhere near the blades, which is a massive relief. Pros: - Pull-out bin is an essential for keeping the floor clean. - Handles light cardboard/delivery packaging with ease. - Multiple layers of safety (locks and slim entry). - High P4 security (cross-cut) for sensitive documents. Cons: - None so far! Just remember to use lubricant sheets to maintain the warranty/motor life. Final Verdict: If you are upgrading from a basic "lift-head" shredder, this is a night-and-day difference. It’s cleaner, safer, and looks great in a home office. Highly recommended.

Used for the first time today and has made a huge difference in my shredding time. Much better than my last Fellows Shredder. I was able to shred more pages at ones and could run it continuously for a period of about 5 mins without any signs of giving up. Really great value for money.

Decent enough shredder, I like it's long run time before it overheats. Yes it occasionally jam's but it's easy enough to fix. Can shred alot more than cheaper models. Good value for money.

Well I have had this now a while my review on this. So on assmbly the top part containing the shredder didn't locate very well into the body, it became stuck and trying to get it back out was not good, slightly broke. Anyway it does the job as intended, the otherday this was shredding quite a lot of paper, performance excellent, of course i give it rests, but really against most shredders which then slow down, or even struggle to shred anything, this one does it with ease. It is excellent for a small office or even home.

Bought this because it has wheels so would be easy to move around and has a pull out drawer for ease of emptying. We can't lift heavy things any more and the top emptying were too heavy. It hasn't disappointed. It rolls well (I can even move from room to room on carpet) and pulling the drawer out to empty is much better. It is easy to use and it is safe as it has an off button on top with a shred and reverse then at the back it has an overall off button which stops it doing anything. You can shred multiple pages and it does shred for longer than the cheaper models before you need to let it cool down. It is easy to use and great value for money. We have been decluttering so have used it on and off quite a bit since we bought it and it def been a great buy.

Item delivered very quickly from UK. Very nice product. One slight issue, the power plug was not converted to AU type. Otherwise, very good item.

Easy to use with the great addition of a front loading basket, very convenient.

Ordered this item for a present and opening package disappointed to see that power cord was not for Australian power points, required to purchase adaptor to enable operation.
