Works great but best in low light condition, early int he morning or late in the evening if doing work outside. Bright sun it's almost impossible to see/sight it at a distance.

I’m an interior designer, this has helped me get measurements done efficiently and consistently correct. It had a lot of functions, which is nice when you need square footage, or help keeping track of your measurements. It’s easy to use, great visibility of numbers, easy to learn (if you read the little manual), and so far, the battery runs great. Great value for the money!

I use this laser for architectural surveying: measuring existing spaces for floor and ceiling plans to create as-built drawings. I need to create accurate base drawings so that the construction drawings are correct. For years, I was using a brick sized Leica laser that was provided by my company. I used this in combination with a sturdy 25' Stanley measuring tape. Eventually, I encountered someone in the field with a pocket sized laser like this and had thought about upgrading to something newer. I've used this laser for the past 2 years. I find this laser to be accurate, and work pretty well. Things I like: - pocket sized - only needs 2 AAA (the old Leica needed 4 or 6 AA) - can be used one handed - if needed, it can take measurements for very small distances (less than 12 inches) - for the price it has very long range - the display showing the last several measurements - this helps save some time Things I don't like: - the back light on the display times out quickly, and if you're measuring in a dim area, it makes reading the numbers difficult. - default measuring in 1/16th of an inch - I wish I could adjust this up to 1/8 of an inch, but owner's manual doesn't say it changes. - the reference point for the laser can change (with one button, you can change the measuring distance from including the length of the device to not including the device.) Since most of the time the laser is against something, you need that additional couple of inches included. Twice on a job this changed without me realizing it, throwing off some measurements. - battery level depicted changes wildly - sometimes you turn it on and it says it has very little battery remaining and then the next time you turn it on, its full! I'd recommend carrying spares - when it reads error, the batteries are dead. Overall its been a good laser for the past two years but I'm thinking of changing to a Bosch GLM100-23. Though the distance range will be less, the laser reference point won't change and the measurements can be rounded up to 1/8 inch.

Arrived in great time. Present for my boyfriend and he was putting on a metal roof and putting up dry wall. Re really likes it.

Easy to use, easy to see and functions as you need it do. Very decent distance measuring.

Lo compré para tener medidas rápidas y exactas en reformas y va perfecto. Es muy intuitivo, se calibra solo y el láser se ve bien incluso con bastante luz. Las mediciones coinciden casi al milímetro y el sensor de ángulo es un plus. La batería dura bastante y el tamaño es cómodo para llevarlo en cualquier bolsa o bolsillo.

Attrezzo professionale e relativamente semplice da usare. Il raggio dichiarato è di 120 metri. Non so se sia credibile ma non l’ho mai provato a quelle distanza anche perché vederne il raggio a quella distanza ci vorrebbe il binocolo specialmente di giorno. L’ho testato di notte ad una distanza di 60 metri e non ho avuto problemi, distanza già notevole di per se. È corredato di un semplice manuale anche in italiano che spiega le sue funzioni molte delle quali, nell’uso comune, difficilmente si useranno ma in qualche ambito potrebbero essere molto utili, in ogni caso ci sono. Puoi calcolare non solo la distanza lineare ma anche l’area e il volume. Molto comoda anche la funzione di memorizzazione dei dati. Puoi effettuare più misurazioni e li tiene in memoria il che ti permette di fare a meno di scrivere le misurazione fatte. Sono in memoria finoa che non li cancelli o lo spegni. Ha la funzione di prendere come riferimento per le misurazioni la sua base o la parte superiore. Consiglio l’acquisto anche per chi lo deve usare a livello professionale.
