They work and the kit is great.
I initially wondered if I could stack 2 2.5 portable HDDs that I had shucked on one bracket, but you can’t. However, the full kit from Sabrent is solid, didn’t have to dig around for actual drive or rack screws. Each of my 5TB 2.5” Seagate drives fit nicely solo in each bracket. The included straight AND right angled SATA cables worked out well. Heck, I liked the bracket so much I ordered a 3rd to properly stick 2 SSDs on one together.

Another Great SABRENT product....
Great product. Came in clutch with the replacement Sata cables and the caddy worked like a charm.

3.5 to 2.5 Hard drive adapter tray/Mount to SSD
Worked good for my application. Plenty of screws, 2 different sizes. The ones that fit the Samsung SSD were flat heads. Which isn't perfect, but they worked.

Not quite entirely universal
The description of this converter reads: "The Sabrent 3.5" to 2.5" Bay Drive Converter Kit easily transforms any available 3.5" bay drive to accommodate up to two 2.5" hard disk drives or SSDs. The Converter Kit is designed to work with all types of computer cases (screw-on type or tool-less type), and can be installed quickly." Unfortunately, the mentions of "any available bay" and "all types of computer cases" are not entirely true. I use an Antec case which has a removable enclosure that contains up to 3 3.5" drives in it. When 3.5" drives are installed, they mount to tool-less quick insert/remove drive trays by the screwholes on the bottom of the drive, and the bottom of the tray. However, this mounting bracket does not have screw holes on the bottom. It can be mounted only by its sides. If you look carefully at the pictures (which I failed to do) you can see that there are no holes which will allow bottom mounting. Since my Antec drive trays are not drilled and tapped for side-mount screws (and are too wide for that arrangement in any case) then this item cannot be used with them. Had I looked more closely at the pictures, I might have seen this ahead of time. The product I received is accurately represented by the pictures in the listing. Apart from this one problem, the product does seem sturdy and well-manufactured. As long as you're able to use side mounts in your existing 3.5" bays, I suspect it would work well.

Great 2.5" drive holder mount
Was perfect fit for my 2.5" SSD/SATA drive. Well made, light weight and a bonus all the cables. The only thing that was an issue the mounting holes didn't line up with any of the holes on the computer case. I drilled new holes in the case, problem solved!

Has what you need
The kit contained everything I needed to install a secondary 1tb SSD drive in my desktop and has an extra slot should I choose to add another. I had zero issues with any of the components. Everything worked as it should.

Very Complete Kit
I think I was one of the lucky ones that got a kit that included both the Molex-to-SATA power splitter AND the SATA 15-pin-to-SATA splitter. The bracket went together easily with my two new SATA SSDs. I took the advice of others and flipped the top SSD so that the connectors weren't stacked so closely. My kit had one SATA data cable with one right-angled end. I got creative with those to make sure they all fit without cramping each other. I will say that even the SATA 15-pin splitter has the molded plastic head, so use at your own risk, depending on where you stand with the hazard-level of that kind of construction. I didn't need it, but it looks well made. I would use it, just sayin'. I like the inclusion of all of the screws required, plus a few extra in case you lose one in the carpet. C'mon, you know you've done it. I'm already contemplating another one of these for another build...
