Verbatim DVD-R Blank Discs AZO Dye 4.7GB 16X Recordable Disc - 50 Pack Spindle

These discs are great for what I was looking for. Had an old movie that was about 4.2 GBs and it fit perfectly on one of these discs. The quality of the sound and video was great and the video transferred in a matter of minutes. The condition of the original video was kept completely. The disc was compatible with both my laptop's external DVD player and my PS3. I also received 50 of them for the low price of 11 dollars. Totally get these if you need DVDs for something!

These verbatim disks are pretty good for the money. I wanted to test some of these drives for a quick moment, got them and they worked fine for the most part. I wish though they had a AZO label or something on them showing they have that dye, because it is difficult to detect the different besides looking at the bottom, which is purple, oh well still good disks recorded information well.

These discs work as they should. Making copies of home videos and they are recording just fine. Sound and video quality is very good. Very happy with the burn rate and quality!

Most discs worked well. Of course with the scale of which they make these, there are bound to be some defective dvd's bust most work. Heads up though, it says they are 4.7 gb, but it is infact 4.3. The dvd's give a little space for you to write their names/labels on, and they burn well. Most playback good as well.

I've been using Verbatim DVD blanks for years and have never had a bad one. One hint, tho. When burning a movie to one be sure to set your burn speed down to 6X or 8X.

I originally converted over fifty Handycam tapes to DVD with a Panasonic recorder and later made MP4 copies. Last year, I learned that the Maxell DVDs I used don’t hold up well over time, while Verbatim AZO discs are far more durable. Since these videos include family birthdays, cruises, and footage of loved ones who’ve passed, I didn’t want to risk losing them. I bought Verbatim AZO DVD‑Rs and created a fresh set. I used DeVeDe and LosslessCut on my older HP AMD running Zorin 17, then finished on my HP AMD SSD laptop with WinX DVD Author. Everything worked smoothly. This time, I also made “greatest hits” versions by cutting out the dull sections and stitching together the best moments using HandBrake and LosslessCut on Windows 11. Copilot helped me match clip settings by analyzing MediaInfo data so everything lined up perfectly. Now the videos are cleaner, more enjoyable to watch, and preserved on media that should last much longer.

I got tired of paying streaming fees and decided to go back to the 'good old days' and burn some movies and shows to watch. These are excellent quality DVDs. The price is fantastic too; less than $0.50 per DVD!
