Great stickers, helpful
Nice fret board sticker set for my electric guitar. My husband was excited to put them on there and it was a great help as a beginner guitar player. Comes with 2 sets of stickers, a user guide and visual instruction manual to get started. They stick well, no issues, have not removed them at all so not sure about the residue in the end. But I’m very happy with my order thus far and they’re made in the USA.

Quality decals a must have for those learning guitar.
I absolutely loved these. The plain black color doesn't throw you off when your playing like the colored ones do. Easy to apply and they stay applied. No lifting. Excellent buy.

Work for the intended purpose
They are sticky and work for the intended purpose. Would be much easier putting them on if you took off your strings. I wish the numbers for the frets were part of the sticker so you could identify which fret you're playing quickly.

Really impressed
I've been playing Bass guitar for nearly 35 years and jumped on these for my five string to better learn theory, notes and utilize my low B now that I'm ready - but that's for a different review. (I got both btw...)A very long time ago I played rhythm guitar with a side band, I was never good at solos and I distanced myself from it; also selling those guitars.Last year I bought an acoustic bass and I'm in love with it. I was going to buy an acoustic guitar recently and take the plunge, as I've always wanted to learn to play one.As synchronicity happens to play out, the literal day before I went to guitar center to buy one, I helped out my sisters boyfriend in a pay it forward manner and he responded by gifting the above pictured Celebrity Ovation made in Korea to me. I'm still trying to figure out if its the 2011 or 1979 version, but either way its awesome.Sorry for the long tale but...I started learning the chords with a book I bought and its been difficult. There are MANY of these note helping stickers on amazon and my mind melted when deciding. So I got these and I am NOT disappointed.I stripped the old strings, cleaned the neck and frets thoroughly, dried it and placed these. I got them 98% even up the neck and only had to reorient one, but it did not damage it peeling and re sticking. The neck is a bit short compared to many acoustics I've seen and I wasn't going to use them all, but I went for it anyway. These are a blessing! No fancy silly multi color crap either.I put phosphor bronze strings on and noticed right away that playing with them on does not seem to impede the fret sound at all. This is quite astounding. I expected a hum or diminished tone. Crystal clear.Higher up the fret-board they overlap the diamonds but so far I've not noticed a sound difference.Pros~ Absolutely everything. Easy stick, holds well ( reviews state the older version does not). Non distracting color, does not effect sound.Cons~ I would say that if you had to take them on or off or re-orient them multiple times, you wouldn't have much luck. The sticker panel it comes with does not have 'extras' -( some companies do this) like the string name part (EADGBE) is not removable but can be cut out and placed at the nut for beginners. Perhaps long sticker to go with side notes instead of relying only on the dots..this latter part is just an observation, nothing really bad there though.Summary~ I am really impressed and will be getting more if I need them. My 17 yr old expressed interest in learning on my 4 string bass that I hardly use, so this would be an exceptional learning tool for him.If you want or need note reminders or are a beginner, this product is totally for you!!!

Useful learning tool
I bought these stickers for my Requinto, which is tuned a fourth above a standard guitar, so I needed the help to learn the fretboard layout. The Requinto knew is quite wide (like a classical guitar), but these stickers still are effective. My only criticism is that the adhesion is not what it could be. One of the strips never really worked, so I had to replace it with a strip from the second set. Fortunately, that works better. I thought about giving the stickers a bit of a helping hand with some extra glue of my own, but I'm too nervous about causing permanent damage to the fretboard.

HUGELY HELPFUL in not just playing guitar but understanding music.
I've been playing guitar by ear for 30 years but I've always had trouble memorizing notes, where they are, and what they sound like. I knew most major chords, but would often have to slide up and down until I had the basic song, then use box patterns to play solos. But the whole concept of music patterns and even notes and music theory were just too complicated for me to retain and whenever I tried to learn from books or videos it just didn't stick. These stickers changed everything. My skill level is pretty good and I can play the solos from Comfortably Numb and a lot of AC/DC among others, but I never knew what notes I was playing. I just memorized everything visually on the fret board. I can play along with songs but never understood much else. I've tried dozens of books, had lessons, and watched a million videos over the years, but they were often more frustrating than helpful. I had come to the conclusion I just didn't have any musical ability and would never get it. But in three days since getting these stickers, I've improved dramatically. I can tell you what notes I'm playing and I can now match the sound of the note to all the places you can play it on the fret board. The stickers have the perfect amount of stickiness without worrying if they will come off when you no longer need them.Huge help whether you're a beginner or someone like me who has been playing for years and still can't point to an F, or B, or much else unless it's on the bass string. For the first time, I feel like I'm moving forward in my playing and that I'm not a moron when it comes to music theory.Instead of a new stomp box, buy these. They will open a whole new world, even if you're an old guy who has been tinkering all his life and thought you were as good as you were ever going to get.

Glue remains on frets
I put the stickers on my guitar neck. After 10 days, I took the stickers off but the glue from the stickers remained! The goo covers my fingerboard and is nearly impossible to get off. Beware.
