NOT ALCOHOL RESISTANT. AT ALL.
Bought these for marking blood smear slides. The writing did not even survive methanol FUMES, much less the actual liquid. Useless. And came covered in some sort of blue glob of ink, when the markers are black? Messy AND useless. And I can't return to Amazon, because they are "hazardous material". Triply useless.

Not alcohol resistant on all surfaces.
It is not alcohol resistant on smooth surfaces as Petri dish or cultural plates. Pity. Tech support of the company confirmed it. So if you need a marker to use in a tissue culture, it is not your choice. On the rough surfaces, it is ok.

It’s not like VWR. The ink of one pen dropped out when used the first time.
