Super Saver Yarn for Crocheting & Knitting, White, 3-Pack

This is a very light color that I got to make a blanket with shades of purple. So far no knots or tangling and it has not split on me. Fairly soft but will get softer once washed and dried. Great quality that's easy to use to make anything.

I love Red Heart Super Saver Yarns. It's my go to yarn. It is great quality for a decent price. The colors are vibrant and rich. Any crochet project I have ever made turned out beautifully. I crochet a scarf for a friend as a late gift and used this color because like me she loves purple. The yarn made the scarf turn out absolutely gorgeous. The yarn is easy to work with and doesn't split. I know blankets I have crochet with Red Heart Super Saver yarn keep me warm during the cold winter nights here.

I have grown up with this yarn, in my 80's now. Have always found it dependable, good color selection, good for most things you can knit and beyond. It's soft enough for blankets, durable enough for all types of knitting. I am currently making afghans for the family, started with just the grands, then their spouces and kids and more so I still have 5 left to do after 3 years. Some projects are now older but hold their shape like the new ones. Also use it with Christmas decorations, some simple fix its around the house. I seldom have spliced in yarn. A good quality for anyone from beginner to advanced, only thing holding you back using it is your ability and imagination

Made a gorgeous scarf with it last winter! It did the job perfectly. The color looks exactly like th photo and the it was easy to use. Red heart yarn is usually easy to unravel and doesn’t knot. It wasn’t the softest yarn but that was expected.

I absolutely love this yarn. I make rugs and it’s always true to the color description with good quality. It does not get frizzy when using and is durable. There have been occasional knots however not enough to be bothersome. It creates thick cushiony relief for your feet. I’ve also used it for other crafts and have been pleased with the results.

This yarn is priced nicely and has beautiful vibrant colors that change from one to the other. It’s great for creating retro granny squares because the colors are perfectfor this project. The downside is, yarn is somewhat corse and could be softer

Love this yarn for its bright, cheerful colors and easy workability. Crocheted a fringed scarf for my nephew using a moss stitch pattern, came out really nice. Only reason I am giving four stars is that some of the different colors seem to have different textures/softness. The pink and yellow, for example, seem a bit thinner and pull a bit more taught, so keep an eye out for this. Additionally some of the colors are attached to each other with tiny knots rather than the dye shifting (notable in the blue-to-yellow transition and orange-to-pink occasionally), so make sure you tuck these little knots into your stitches so they don't show, especially if you are making something for a kid that likes to pick at loose ends/threads like my nephew does. All-in-all I'm happy with this yarn, the skeins are a decent size, one scarf took me about a skein and a half, plus some extra I cut for the fringe.

Yeah, I know, call me old school, call me nostalgic, call me what you will, but I love my Red Heart Yarn! My Grandma taught me to crochet with Red Heart Yarn back in the 1970's, and I can guarantee this is not your Grandma's yarn. Clearly the process by which they make this stuff has changed over the years, it's actually soft, versus the sandpaper texture of 50 years ago. BUT, you want it even softer? After you're done with your project, soak it in your washing machine for about 20ish minutes in cool water with about a cup of white vinegar, drain the water, wash in cool water but use hair conditioner instead of fabric softener for that first wash, tumble dry on low/medium heat and out comes the drapey, soft, cozy yarn we all want without breaking the bank.

Wonderful to kmit with. Very soft and I would highly recommend this for children's or adult knitted jumper or jacket.
