Perfect for kids and summer fun!
I bought this camera for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! It is super easy for her to use and the underwater photos turn out great. Itโs durable, fun, and perfect for the pool or beach. Highly recommended for a gift!

Versions on camera varyโฆ.
I would give the camera a 5 star review but there is a performance issue in one of the two cameras that I purchased. This camera is simple to use and the grandkids (5yr old twins) love them. However since I bought two I noticed a big difference in the battery life and discovered why. The pink one does not have a menu option in the settings to dim the screen therefore the battery does not last as long as the other one. The blue camera that does have a screen display setting has a much longer battery life. In settings, the versions are different. I would love to know how to upgrade the version so the performance would be the same. I hope to get a response and I would gladly give a 5 star review. Iโd return the one, but I have no guarantee the replacement would be any different. Please help!

Great for the Price
This is my 6 year old's first personal camera and my kids are pretty rough with their things so the fact that it has lasted well for the first week is great. We've used it under water at the beach, water park, and pool and the camera is still intact thanks to the waterproof cover. We've also used it at home of course and playing outside. The camera has a lot of storage before needing to have pictures and videos moved to another storage space. There are simple games (not the reason I bought it). I'd estimate that it must be re-charged after about 2-3 hours of constant use which, for me, is a bonus because it naturally gives my child a break from technology. Updating after 3.5 months of frequent use: The camera is still a good fit for the cost, and at the same time, you get what you pay for. It has been randomly freezing with no buttons that are able to change the interface image or turn off the camera. We've resorted to waiting for the camera to run out of battery and die, recharging it, and turning it on again. Then it is usable. I'd say this random freezing (I say random because my kids aren't holding down buttons or pushing too many at one time or pushing more than one button at a time) happens once a week or more.

Good alternative to disposable underwater camera, but is very light sensitive above water.
We bought a couple of these instead of disposable underwater cameras for snorkeling in the Bahamas to avoid the hassle/cost of having film developed (and I don't generally get good photos with my phone in a pouch). It did great for that purpose! I'm very pleased with the underwater photos. Otherwise however, the photos are just "ok". Be aware that too much or too little light will greatly affect the photo quality. Pics at the sunny beach with all the pretty blue water disappointingly came out very white and washed out. I took a few indoor photos just to try out and they're very dark unless you have plenty of lights on. But I didn't really expect much for the cost, and it served the main purpose I wanted it for. And it IS advertised as a kids camera and is probably good for that purpose, as it has some fun little photo effects and games on it as well (though navigating the menu and buttons might be difficult for young ones).
