I need to adjust the two front wheels on a 24 cubic foot refrigerator. Can it lift a 24 cubic feet refrigerator?

Hi, the lifter is rated for 300 pounds. If your refrigerator weighs less than that you should be okay. Another point to consider is be sure you can access the actual bottom of the refrigerator from the side, not just the door in the front. You could use this tool to raise a door 8" in 2 or 3 steps. Have several sections of 2x4 available. Put one under the fulcrum point of the lift. Lift the door up 4" and put 2x4s under the door to support it in at least 2 different places. Put 3 2x4s under the fulcrum point of the lift. Lift the door to its final height and put 2x4s under the door to support it again in at least 2 different places, while you attach it or do whatever work you have in mind.

Can this item be used on furniture that may have sides about 4 inches off the ground?

Hi. Yes, it will lift an object with four inch sides but the absolute maximum lift is 6 inches. So you'll only create 2 inches of lift. If you only need an inch or so of lift you should be okay. The closer to 6 inches and the closer to the 300 pound limit the item is, the less comfortable I'd be. Hope this helps. Thanks much. - Joe
